เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 26 พ.ย. 2011
Loch Lomond Wildlife Channel films moments in time of the lives of the pine martens, badgers, foxes, red squirrels, birds and other smaller creatures. The animals regularly visit the feeding station in the garden, the woodland and forest in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, during the daylight hours and also through the night. This place is a dream for nature and wildlife lovers. Many other wild animals appear as occasional visitors including deer,, weasels, bats, sparrow hawks, wild ducks, heron and mice to name a few. Owls can be heard in the trees every night, buzzards, osprey, kestrels, merlin and other raptors hunting prey during the day, and woodpecker and many smaller birds visiting the feeders.

Badgers in the Woods
มุมมอง 1179 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
While a badger forages on the woodland floor, he hears a noise and looks up to see a pair of eyes staring back at him from the darkness. Friend or Foe? He runs into the trees to hide and assess the situation. Really nice behaviour seen in this trail camera footage of these nocturnal animals foraging on the forest floor, grooming each other and returning to eating before parting ways.
The Pine Martens

One Night In The Forest Garden
มุมมอง 464วันที่ผ่านมา
A snapshot of the wildlife who visit the forest garden feeding station each night. These animals are semi nocturnal and do visit the garden occasionally during the day, but mostly through the night. There are around six pine martens who regularly come to the garden, three badgers and two foxes, as well as bats, mice and birds. There are roe deer in the woodland, owls hooting in the trees, sparr...
Watch Out Fox is About

The fox and the pine marten are feeding out of sight of each other but very close by. One at one end of the hut and the other to the side. The Pine Marten wants to take the egg away but is worried about where the fox is.
Badger and the Cheeky Pine Martens
มุมมอง 34414 วันที่ผ่านมา
The Pine Marten are getting bolder as the winter approaches and enter the forest garden while the badger is eating. The dominant male has no fear and stands on his hind legs licking peanut butter smeared on the plant pot about 2 meters from the badger. The female is a little more cautious but still enters and jumps onto the hut platform to eat. The wildlife trail camera in the forest garden is ...
Badger Makes a New Friend
มุมมอง 11114 วันที่ผ่านมา
The badger is eating at the feeding station in the forest wildlife garden when another badger turns up. Unlike a few days before, when the second badger was chased off, this time, they greet each other calmly and both enter the garden to eat. #badger #wildlife #naturelovers
Badger Chased Away by Newcomer
มุมมอง 22421 วันที่ผ่านมา
The resident badger enters the feeding station in the forest wildlife garden to find another badger already there eating all the food. He stops in his tracks and waits to see how the other badger reacts to him. Meanwhile, up on the fence feeding area, the pine marten watches the going on from above. The wildlife forest garden always has plenty going on and lots of different animals including th...
Pine Martens Always Together
มุมมอง 16421 วันที่ผ่านมา
Pine Martens are solitary woodland animals living alone except during mating season, and for the female, raising the young kits. These two, male and female pine martens, got together at the start of the breeding season in August. Previous videos show their initial bonding, grooming and playing together at the feeding station in the forest wildlife garden. Every night since, they have been comin...

Red squirrels are great!!!! Hope they are making a comeback
@@LV24-10 They are great and definitely back in this area. No greys here, thanks in part to the pine martens 😁
Nice 👍
What a mupped... .💚🐾🍁😂😂!!!
Beautiful trail camera video.
Thanks, we’re very lucky having so many visitors on our doorstep.
@@MKrištínWildness wow, you have some amazing wildlife in Slovakia. I just subscribed to your channel and look forward to watching your wildlife videos.
Nice 👍
Wonderful visitors! Are they eating food you've left for them?
@@ihave2habit I’m very lucky to live in a place full of wildlife. I put nuts out for them (unsalted) the kind you would feed the birds and squirrels. I also smear a little peanut butter on some of the surfaces which is why they like to lick the plant pot.
What dolls............❤❤ !
Where you were filming at?
It is filmed in Lomond and the Trossachs National Park in Scotland.
Henry the hoover of the animal world 😂
Yep, and now there’s two 😂
Badgers ! we don't need no steenkin' badgers !
🤣
No for sharing it 😁
Куница.
Getting frisky indeed Lets hope forsome Kits
Yeh, hopefully we’ll get some kits. There were two mating pairs that I know of, who regularly visit the garden. The others I’m not sure about. They certainly didn’t show any mating behaviour in the garden, but time will tell.
Typical Scottish weather 😁
@@PMckBirdsandWildlife Yeh, So dark and gloomy in the daytime that the camera went into night vision for the squirrel footage 😩
Very nice 👍
Maybe a breeding pair
@@PMckBirdsandWildlife yes, they absolutely are. They got together back in August. There are videos on the channel showing them playing and grooming and getting to know each other and they’ve been coming into the garden together ever since. It’s a long time for them still to be together. I thought by now, they would have been back to their solitary lives. Most of the information on pine martens tells you that July / August is breeding season, but these two obviously didn’t get that memo. Great to see them still together though.
I like the way they always take the egg off to their hiding place
What was that that flew bye around 4:05?
Bat I think.
Definitely a bat. We have lots of them living in the eves of the house. The feature video for the channel has one passing in slow motion if you want to see it th-cam.com/video/s9sE-BICpYE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=vBWRQeDkTdEJJaIv
Fantastic footage as usual 👍
Thanks, very lucky with the wildlife here. Always great to see a new visitor to the garden.
How cool is that 👍
Yep, very cool. Fox was still a bit nervous but great to see them eating together. Just a pity the footage was a bit grainy.
🦡❤️
More good footage The surrounding birds are very vocal too 👍
@@PMckBirdsandWildlife Thanks, the woodland is full of surprises. At first I thought it was four Jays messing around with each other, until I zoomed in. Brilliant to see, I didn’t think they would go for a bird this size.
@@LochLomondWildlife Aye it could've that or maybe it was just a territorial thing Great shots either way 👍
@@PMckBirdsandWildlife you’re more than likely right about the territorial thing, as I think they would definitely have caught the Jays if they’d really wanted to.
Very nice to see! I am a Swede that have moved to Vienna some ten years ago, and I am stunned by the amount of wildlife living quite central in the city. Red squirrels are common, and I have seen pine martens, foxes, row deer and owls too. Some sparrowhawks are also around, as two species of falcons. I do like that these species make a recovery, no matter the country. Keep on watching and documenting!
@@jokervienna6433 WOW! Fantastic for you to see all of these animals in the city. It does make me wonder why they would choose to be there rather than the forest, but always great to see them regardless. I can’t get enough of them, so I will be watching for as long as I can.
@@LochLomondWildlife sounds like a plan! Keep it up! I also get happy for wildlife, and all the mentioned species are in the forests too. Vienna as a city has a goal though - 50 percent of the city shall be green areas. It means the animals can survive. I am really happy about that the city also keeps its promise.
Nice to see this during #redsquirrelawarenessweek ❤
@@chrislittle4427 It is Chris. The reds have been missing round here for a few months. I think the forestry work disturbs them and they move to different areas. I’m hoping the sight of this wee one is the start of them moving back in.
👍
Nice footage, thanks for sharing 👍
Glad you liked it. There’s lots more badger footage on the channel that you might enjoy.
@@LochLomondWildlife thanks 😀👍

Nice daytime footage 👍
Thanks, it’s always great to see them during the day.

Pine Martens scent marking and a swooping bat , how cool is that 👍
Hi me again I was interested in giving a Donation for your channel but can't find any links I don't know if you have any or it's because it's disabled under set for kids option Also been spreading news of your channel to family and friends hopefully you'll get some more subs
That’s really kind of you. I’m not sure I’m eligible yet, will need to check. It would certainly help a lot as the badgers can’t half eat, I think they have hollow legs.
I@@LochLomondWildlifeIf YouCan get a donation link sorted it would really help your channel grow I'm a member of another site in Argyll called Scottish Wildlife Garden it's an interactive live stream Check it out i think yould like it
PS You tube had an update and the notifications are back to normal so ok on the notifications now 👍
I still wish to donate if at all possible so hopefully you're eligible
@@PMckBirdsandWildlifethat’s great news, glad notifications back on. Thanks for letting me know, much appreciated.
Great footage 👍
Please can you change your next vid to not made for kids as this allows the notifications on your channel
Hi there new Sub here love your content Some great footage It says your notifications are turned off due to content made for kids so I can't get notified for your latest vids
@@PMckBirdsandWildlife Hi, thanks for subscribing. I’ll have to have a look. I normally click on ‘not for children’ but have maybe missed one somewhere.
@@LochLomondWildlife thanks for the quick reply It maybe a glitch it sometimes happens to some of my other subbed channels Checked for update but it's still the same at the moment Love your content and hope you can continue to grow your channel in the near future,👍
@@PMckBirdsandWildlife cheers for that, I can’t get enough of the wildlife, and very lucky to have them so close, so plan to keep filming as long as I can. I will check everything at my side. Still getting to know the ins and outs of YT, so I may have missed something.
Love it.
Thank you. Would love a fast shutter speed camera for the bats…..maybe one day.

@@Cary-f9f You might enjoy the badger playlist if you haven’t already watched it. Since making the playlist, we decided to block access for the badger’s safety. He is way too clumsy to be up on top of a 6ft fence. I lost count of the number of times he fell off 😂 th-cam.com/play/PL4oe2RUHHvYooptuXYktDaQtkOLueNAqW.html&si=OOYSAfm2OMK4Jj3Z
Thank you. Badgers are fun😊
That Badger is tweaking.
Mad! Obviously pitch black, sometimes they scarper then they are happy to keep a comfortable distance
Yes, think the badger just got a fright. Didn’t know what was coming at him, but wasn’t that bothered about the fox’s presence when he realised it was just the fox.
Must be a young one, not so sure footed about 16 min in. 😅
@@douglaswatson8324 yeh, she’s definitely new to the garden. She spent a lot of time exploring and has now decided that the bird feeder with the fat balls is hers and steals it every night.
The pine marten is like “can’t believe my luck, the eggs still here”
@@douglaswatson8324 I loved seeing him coming slowly up over the plant pot. Those ears ❤️
Very nice video.
@@TheWillpar Thank you. It was an unexpected surprise seeing a heron in the forest. Always great having a new visitor though.
you should add the Mouse to the title as well.
@@RobMellowship Thank you, I will do, always forget about the wee mice.
I would trap both for pets 😂😂😂
I wish we had badgers where I live
You can find them in most parts of the UK, I take it you are somewhere other than UK? They're very cute, but this one is also a complete menace. He destroyed my front garden last week.
Where I live in Canada they're mostly considered pests and are shot on sight.
@@irishkelly654 That is really sad to hear. Badgers were badly mistreated here in the uk for a long time. They are now a protected species, since around 1992, but I’m sure some of the cruelty still goes on here too. I have no idea how much difference a law makes to protect these beautiful animals but I really hope it helps. Is there anybody fighting for the badger in Canada?
Please give it a like or YT won’t show it to others who might enjoy it. Thank you.
