Drinking clear water is more exciting than listening to this weird concoction.
🤣
don't quit your day job.
Se es un bajo pero se escucha una guitarra requinteando. Muy mal el video😮
Pick at thang, son!! lol
Sounds great
How many frets does it have
19 frets
How does your bass compare with the Mustang bass Japanese reissues? Is the neck as slim? I use LaBella SS Mustang flatwounds on mine (early 2000s CIJ model)...the sound is great! Your bass looks great...I still can't see how they call it burgundy!
I have not gotten to try out the MIJ models so sadly I cannot compare. I have a pair of the same flatwounds waiting for my next string change 😃 On the color, apparently it's because burgundy is used, but it's covered with another layer of paint
The fact that you’re still using a top-loader says a lot.
Uhhh no they dont. And dont try and be the Prof
I've been going back and forth between getting this and the bronco. Can't seem to make a choice. Thanks!
Chill unpretentious presentation
Nice to hear a whole verse! Excellent!!!
Great! 🎉
Thanks! I didn't realize that amazing combo was in my deck! Watch out, opponents...
Cool video, straight to the point
Dude just show the whole thing
How does it compare to JMJ mustang bass? Really nice review. Thanks!
I haven't played that one, sorry! I considered buying it originally but chose the vintera 2 because of pickup tests on TH-cam. Hope that helps!
Also good job
I don’t like that kind of music too much but that song is really fun to play
I purchased the same exact bass back in February. I also thru on some flatwounds and it plays great. The QC is on-point. 👍😎
Thank you for the review! I dont know anything at all but looking into buying one of these to start learning from scratch
The short scale makes it a good beginner. There's also a similar Squier that really does wonders for the price, if you're not in for the cost of this one right away
How do you like this bass? I've heard since people say the pick ups can be weak and there's a lot of hum.

There's definitely some hum from the single coil, my tone is usually at 0% which helps out, but there's always a bit. I havent had trouble with the strength of the pickups, i do use an amp with a pssive/active input tho. All in all, I like the bass a lot so far. Really suits the country style I'm playing at the moment!
Maybe add copper shielding inside to knock out the hum.

I'm new to your TH-cam Channel 🎸🎶 Thanks for Sharing 🎸🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
i've got no idea what pat is talking about plz halp im a bass player i dont wanna be bad oh god no
He's basically saying if you fuck up, everyone and everything will feel and hear it
What a great no bullshit review. Subscribed!
Good stuff love it
Thanks! 🎻🙂
Get a set of La Bella 760F MUS short scale flat wound strings that are made specifically for short scale Mustang basses with the string through body design. If you use anything else, you WILL have fret buzz and intonation problems.
I must try these. La bellas are hard to get where I am ):
@@MicBassLights Try ordering them online. I don’t have them locally either.
Another great video!
A Gotoh 201 bridge and a GFS alnico (exposed poles) pickup, along with a wide strap, have alleviated much of the tone and balance issues on my charcoal metallic (rosewood fingerboard) specimen. There have been experiments with dowels and long screws at the upper horn, but none were deemed sufficient, thus far. I keep it permanently plugged in, feeding it through an AC-powered MXR M-80 pedal preamp and a 5w personal monitor with a 3" speaker. That's the perfect setup for my man-cave, allowing me to practice in the wee small hours, if I feel the need (the cave is a garage converted habitable with climate control; a brick wall separates it from the rest of the house). The oldest grandson will likely become intrigued, as he advances into his teens. This bass is thus my designated beater for tight spaces (as coffee houses can be) and unsavory places (<$320 total outlay, including mods). A quartet of J-bass variants remains my go-to pool for most gigs, with a limited edition Warwick for special occasions and studio work. A fretless Gold Tone Micro rounds out the herd. De-fretting the Jag is a possibility for the future, but for now, I get StingRay-like sounds for very low cost, using the aforementioned setup, which sounds just as great through my full MarkBass rig.
Awesome! Thanks for the tips, as I will be modding this bass as my next project, pickup being my first thing to look at! I've been running my basses through a traynor small block 106 and I find the base pickup in the jaguar overdrives it pretty easily. Your setup sounds like a dream for getting comfortable playing time in, some motivation for me to arrange my practice space more! Cheers!
A review without any playing seems senseless to me 😅
I get that, I do put out a demo in the following week for this reason. Hope this helps!
if you are into country try the Vintera II 70's Telecaster bass reissue 🍺
Turn the music down 😭
I'll have to work on the balance next video 👍

Love the thumbnail! 😂
Good review. I’ve had the orange one for a few months now. Mine’s pretty heavy for a mustang but overall happy with the purchase.
Thankyou! Perhaps I'll add a weight section to the next one, it's good to know what to expect!
Found your review on Reddit. Great review, clear and to the point. No annoying gimmicks and bits. Look forward to seeing more
Sorry I bummed the demo, Next one will get even better hopefully!!
@@MicBassLightsnot at all! It’s such a nice change from the over production videos,
Beautiful guitar!!
Great sound!
Heck nahh this is my jam dude ❤❤❤
Where in Canada are you from??? how about some Tool and Primus Bass lessons???
Perhaps when I've been playing a bit longer 😁
🤌🏻
That sounds more like a P bass than a P bass
Seconding the pinky advice! It’ll soon be just as good as your other three fingers but you’ve gotta develop its strength and independence. Great playing though and cool song
nice! don’t be afraid of using the pinky!
Great attempt keep at it! Greeting from Germany
Sounds great and that’s a beautiful bass.
That made a laugh.
