Some times using 10W40 oil will do that. If you switch back to 10W30 the noise may go away.

The styling of the 1300 is Hornet-styling, if you look at the Hornet 250, 400, 599, 900. Aside from the upswept mufflers of the smaller models, the styling is similar.

So the 1300 has fatter tires and is liquid cooled. Other than that I don't see a heck of a lot of difference.

What year ? How much ? and can dealer get in the USA ? The fuel injected Inline Four 6 speed is a dream ride ...🔈🔈🔉🔉🔊🔊 I have the 2013 CB 1100 fuel injected 5 speed. I keep looking for that 6th gear ..⚙️⚙️⚙️ 😎

Hi Jason, your engine sound normal to me. The bottom rattling noise is cause by the balancer shaft, which to me sound ok. You could adjust to reduce it more but it will wear out faster if over tighten.
