as much as i enjoy this game... i dont trust the devs. i have played it for some time with my friend, but spending money on it is concerning. what happened with contractors showdown is a sign that they can do the same with this game and could end up with long time waiting for a match. if the devs get their asses to work then for sure this game will beat tabor and be the best extraction shooter on the market but earning the players trust will take some time. (or at least mine)

One of the biggest problems I have is to start the game at all I need to restart the game 5 times before I get to the mode selection window.

Mid players like me cant play solo, die all the time. And can't get into trios b/c I'm not super sweaty laying down 10 kills a match.

Personally. I like contractors (The exfil) more than Ghost of tabor too. Because the shit I lost every time I get near anywhere in tabor is giving me a heart attack, maybe 2. But I can also say that contractor exfil has a slow kill time. Which can be both a positive and a negative. But good video.

One thing I would love is for People who made the mods for contractors like Gunsmoke get a actual job making the guns for this game as their guns look awesome and it would be a good way to support the modding community

One thing tabor has going is sound effects for me atleast, there gun sounds are pretty good

I feel your pain. I've had the Ark phone in my backpack so many times, still haven't got it out 😊

My only issue is I really don't like the extraction shooter genre. But i keep playing the game anyway because it's damn fun. And that you can be a level 1 going against stupid high levels with the best armor and guns. But even in this game it feels like you have a chance to be the underdog.

During my time playing it, I love it, and it has a nice gameplay loop, I am kind of playing it half-assed though until the new wipe comes since I am way, way far behind then players who can dedicate every day or close to every day to it. In terms of problems, though, I am kinda disappointed at the fact they haven't ported over a lot of their guns from OG to Showdown in any of the game modes. They have new guns that slap which is good, but I miss the old ones and would love to see them with the newer IK/Player rig and all that on Exfil, other than that the game is solid for me <3

"An apology letter" Are you kidding me? If I buy a BR game and I end up with an extraction shooter, then I feel scammed. If they have the capacity and talent to make a superior extraction shooter than "G.O.T.", then they have the capacity to make their BR shooter better. I love the fact when these lower tier VR commentators make excuses for VR companies. There's a whole list of things they could have done to fix their BR shooter. One of the main things that I've noticed is that a lot of people complain about people who use Oculus 1 and 2 experienced lot of performance issues. And don't bullcrap me about the oversaturation of BR games in the VR landscape. This isn't flat screen gaming we're talking about. I could count only one other VR BRs. You lack serious critical thinking. Fuckin' cringe.

the GUNS FUCKING SUCKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tabor is better with maps and guns, everything else exfil beats the shit out of tabor with, but in a FPS game in VR I care way more about the shooting then the looting.

the main issue i have with this game is how dropped objects interact with the environment. sometimes they'll fall normally or they'll fall through the ground slightly making it impossible to find them or they'll literally fall through the bottom of the map

lol I love how fish says play 100 hours and leave yet to complete all the tasks and max out your account like hideout you need to put well over 100 hours grinding and when wipe starts that's when everyone resets and plays from the start. they literally choose to make there first game a extraction shooter which is meant to be played longterm like years

I think when meta partnered with tabor they made a bunch of changes and told the devs how to make money and make the game last long instead of letting them do their own thing something like that at least. cause I don't understand how after the partnership things went downhill so easily especially with the help of a big company like meta

2 raids last night i died of bleeding because none of my bandages would let me wrap anything. but as soon as i load into hideout i can now use bandages. very frustrating

Exfil zone is miles ahead of tabor. This game is such a huge W for caveman studios. Also super glad that they decided to work on an extraction shooter because I was burnt out of tabor, their new quest / tasks system is dog shmeat in comparison to exfil zones.

The only thing goes to Tabor has on this game is the gun sounds in the flashlight range outside of that I don't even think it's a fair fight between the two😂

Their track record is totally good. Contractors OG got an update two months ago allowing 24 player lobbies, they have a robust modding community and support the game to this day. As far as Showdown goes, they did nothing wrong. They poured work into a battle royale game that flopped because the genre is stale. They supported it by adding a new resurgence style mode to get players back in, they added drivable vehicles, they added new weapons, they added a season. The only complaint people have is that they didn’t make and charge people for a second season pass. Their decision not to drop another season is a sign of their integrity, they didn’t want to charge people for more cosmetics in a dying mode. They pivoted to making exfilzone and knocked it out of the park. They’re updating it consistently just like they did with every other game they’ve been involved with.

Even though this games gots some issues, I still enjoy it so much better than tabor

im just annoyed with the random crashes but i know its alpha and it will be fixed eventually until then i only do scav runs and naked metro runs because it seems i don't crash when i have nothing on

why not just use the 4k set that gives you meds, armor, food, water, guns & ammo, pouches. Seems way better then spending 66k?? or am i missing something lol

Good stuff! I greatly prefer the slugs for shotty. Gives you much more range.

The semi auto shotgun is by far superior and almost the same price. This allow you fire rapidly when you're facing an enemy at very close range and you need them to die immediately.
