Building great Athletes: Mobility 1.0
BUILDING GREAT ATHLETES THROUGH MOBILITY
1) Enhance Flexibility and Agility: By improving your mobility, you’ll become more agile and capable of performing rapid, dynamic movements. This includes being able to make quick and sudden changes in direction, which is essential for physical performance.
2) Accelerate Recovery: Helps to boost blood circulation, reduce muscle stiffness, and promote tissue health. This leads to faster recovery after exercise or physical activity.
3) Boost Strength and Power: When muscles and joints move freely through their full range of motion, you can recruit more muscle fibers. This leads to greater strength and power in movements such as sprinting, lifting weights, and jumping. Improved mobility enables you to push your physical limits with more efficiency.
4) Prevent Injuries: Maintaining mobility reduces the risk of common injuries like sprains, strains, and muscle tears. Flexible joints and muscles are more resilient and adaptable under stress, making injury prevention a key benefit of unlocking your full range of motion.
5) Increase Body Awareness: Enhanced proprioception-your body’s sense of its position in space-improves control over your movements. This heightened body awareness helps with balance, coordination, and making precise adjustments during physical activities, leading to smoother, more effective performance.

Is this the only achilles recovery video you made?
11 days into this same journey. This is really tough‼️
Dude how did you get so big so fast. You used to be skinny like a twig
Coach rich it’s Levi
Thank you for the tip brother! It’s been hard for me to dribble so I want to learn in the most effective and efficient way. Good dribbling sense!

I love these drills. My dad when he coached had his players no matter what age group always do warm ups then right into dribbling drills. Good job coach!

The classic sibling game 💀
"haha you can't get me" runs through the circle
Thabks man, actually looks fun, looking for tips just like this!
Looks like it’s been a year. How did it heal and how are you doing now?
Its been good. Healed quicker than I thought. Maybe 8/9 months in I was able to do everything again, obviously not to the the maximum like sprinting etc..
Is this after your Achilles injury?
I am on week 4 now. And i hate this slow recovery. Why does it happen to people who are fit and fine?????
I am on week 7 bro and I feel exactly like you. So sad loosing all we worked years to get:/ try a good diet and exercises in which you dont need to put your foot on the floor: bicep, tricep, chest, shoulder and back...
Yea i didn't like the slow progress either but I took that time to reflect on everything in my life which helped a lot in the end.
Haha i am also in OT school and just ruptured my Achilles!
Hope your doing well
Was it painful after the rupture??
It was not painful honestly.... everything felt numb.
Your blessed brother don’t forget
I'm on week 3 now in a cast but I decided to go the nonsurgical way
How has that been so far? Would love to know.
I’m on week 3! I had my surgery Sept 8th. I ruptured Mine playing Flag Football at 56yrs old. I’m a ex College & Pro Football player. I haven’t played competitively in 12yrs. My expected Return To Work date is 3/23. I’m doing my weekly talk shows on twitch now. My studios in the basement and the 1st week was hard for me. Luckily my wife is a nurse.
I wish you all the best. I just ruptured my Achilles last Wednesday and will probably have surgery as well if I want any chance of playing tennis again. I am 55, and still waiting to get my MRI.
Sucks getting old🤣🤣🤣
How has your progress been thus far?
Wow, that was really informative
Great content!!!
