How you guys get into lobbies nowadays?

I dont know most of these maps by name off the dome - but as a viewer I love the 'nuketown' maps, where Spies and Mercs are never TOO far apart from each other at any given time. And then the definite S maps are those with a 'next phase' like the Bank. Also, I just love the setting of most of the other maps, so its always a good time regardless. Especially the maps that truly allow the Spies to go full Ninja and practically stay in a elevated position/escape through a hole throughout the map. Lol

Clubhouse is one of the GOAT maps. This map and Museum were the 2 maps demoed on the Chaos Theory SvM PC beta that Ubisoft released a month or two before release in March 2005.

The detectors cover so much of the rooms they're in on that map and I realised how the colored stripes along the bottom of the walls prevent a spy from crouching in the dark but picking up the cut off created by the spy's legs might not be the most obvious detail. The integrated keyboard of my laptop has been doing annoying stuff since a while so I avoid doing active things like playing games on it, it has been fairly tame lately tough and doesn't bother me too much. The mine was clipped into the door I imagine but I didn't rewatched that part.

That Merc slap out the window was awesome, along with the Merc knockout for the win. Could that have been the same Merc both times since you had to wait for the alarm to end?

Another custom mode my friends and I used to play on Steel Squat was “Apartment” where it was a just a fun random game of 2 Spies living in the same apartment complex as 2 Mercs. We would take roles of watching tv, cooking in the kitchen / laboratory, unpacking boxes, ruining each others day, etc. the options were endless. Another concept of it was spies and Mercs living in each of the apartment buildings and spying on each other and causing shananigans from afar. Oh man the memories! Steel Squat is the top 10 SvM maps for me.

The situation at 1:32 is hilarious. First the Merc gets blurred vision from jumping on the staircase for the mine placement, then the spy makes the mine go off, which makes the Merc go flying like Superman. Then both the Merc and Spy die by the same explosion by the staircase again. Hilarious!! Lol if not already, this clip needs to be saved in a compilation of hilarious situations / deaths in SvM
