nice house love the kitchen. must of sold for $1.1mil (cheap) because he really needed the money. i read an interveiw where he was telling about how difficult it is getting his comics going, he got lucky with netfix and another comic book project is coming out but it not like the MCR glory days. he's getting better success with the band on the road again. i'm glad MCR are out there. maybe he right some new music. alot of groups are coming out there again singing their best songs. gotta pay those bills..

1.1 million for southern California isn't anything special nowadays. Probably this home would sell for 3-5 million today, with inflation and the housing market being what it is.

They are in his house cause he sold it! These are photos he ( or Lindsey ) took of the house to sell it! They no longer live here because people found their address so they had to move. (Which rlly sucks cause it’s a super nice place)
That wasn't really why they moved. The address of Gerard and Lindsey's current home, complete with street views, is readily available online. The main reason they moved was because Gerard, at the time, at least felt that, he wanted a more modest home. They bought this house at a time when Gerard wasn't particularly happy about his life, at least as far as MCR was concerned.
@@brettcooper3893 It's fascinating that's the reason to me, bc in truth, this is an INCREDIBLY modest house by modern celeb standards. The inside isn't overly done up or flashy. The kitchen is fairly small, as is the living room, and the bathrooms are just simple white subway tile. Tbh, the master bath is probably the most lavish room in that entire house with the fireplace in it and large separate standing shower & bathtub. $1.1 Mil. for a modest house like this is a steal of a deal in today's market, esp in Cali with a decent view like that. And yet, it has incredibly cozy vibes, with the private garden and fun art studio they turned the office/spare room into. Shame they let it go, though I'd be (respectfully!) curious to see what they opted for instead.
