Can I Use just x20A thinner with x22 ?

This isn’t a revell kit. It’s a rebox of accurate miniatures kit. Eduard and italeri also did their own reboxes

I made every mistake you could make building this kit. Oooff. Not to mention, there is a sprue with a bunch of random parts that aren't for this aircraft with only 11 piece for the kit @13:50, why they didn't just add the second pilot and save on plastic shows how cheap this product is. Don't even get me started on the canopy and how horrible it fits. Even for $25 on sale it's not worth it.

There is a video by AGscaleworks that suggests .Hobby Boss cut a few corners modelling this aircraft,and if you want an accurate model there is a fair amount of work to do on it

Thanx for this review, just ordered a Badger Xtreme from a place here in the USA that was closing. I was interested in this airbrush and paid $70 (USD) so I think I got a good deal ! 👍

The molding is a monogram kit. I built one back in 91 built another one and 99 and I’m building one now it’s not a kit for somebody without modeling skills. Good luck it will turn out nice just have a little patience.

Do these varnishes protect the colours and decals etc from sunlight and UV?

So apply a gloss clear coat AFTER any work (paint or decals) to seal it in, then matte clear coat as the VERY last step?

Hello, I was wondering if you had built this model. I notice it has the same nose piece that my Monogram F-14A has. It has some fitment issues. Could you share your experience in this builds difficulty?

Have just found your video useful to me as a complete novice and have recently bought the Infinity CR Plus 2in 1 #2 And I live in a remote part of the Highlands here in Scotland I would like to use the Tamiya acrylics as you suggested but the thinners is a problem I can get hold of the Tamiya X-20A . But the more toxic Tamiya thinners such as the retarder type Orange top (87194) or the other Tamiya Lacquer thinner Cream top as well as Mr Hobby Levelling Thinner 400 as you suggested. Cannot be delivered by Royal Mail if you are ordering them On-Line here in the U.K. you also mentioned using Isopropyl Alcohol but where do you get this from please. And finally do you put anything in your Airbrush Cleaning Pot before you start when cleaning out your Airbrush. Thank you again for the tips and look forward to your next project.

hello i wanted to know i am thinking of buying this kit. but i wanted to know it seems that the top of the fusulage looks like it has a hole for the landing gear sence there is no holes on the bottom of the body how do you attach the landing gear wheels ?

Academy's offering of the famous Viper is just okay, thank your lucky stars you didn't pick up the Zenghefu/Kitech re-pop or you'd have a warped, ill-fitting mess on your hands! This kit is alright, no belly tank is included like what's seen on the box art, but you do get the massive 370 gal drop tanks, not one but *two* General Electric GEPOD-30 gun pods that were tested but never used on the F-16 and strangely, two napalm bombs that are never mentioned in the instructions. You also get six AGM-65 Mavrick air-to-ground missiles but no targeting pod, so they're kinda useless unless you can crib a Pave Penny pod from another kit. So, as it is stands, the logical configuration is for a clean 86th Tactical Fighter Wing commander's jet commemorating the Wing's special event (I guess) when they transitioned to the F-16 in 1985 and the decals are for this only, no alternate option given. I cannot find any photos of this particular F-16 anywhere! BTW, the decals kinda suck in this kit so I'd highly suggest getting aftermaket decals, also pay attention to the optional parts for the tail base, the longer one with the blade antenna is for the C model. I built the 1/48 Su-2. One half of the fuselage was warped slightly near the tail, but careful gluing gave a perfect result. They are better than Airfix & Revell imo, & getting close to Tamiya quality. Some of the clear parts could be better in some of the kits ( I have 5 in my stock ), No issues with decals, they go down well & hard to notice with a coat of clear over them.

Hii, excuse my ignorance! If you don't mind answering, did you ever tried the X-35 semi gloss? I'm considering purchasing it, but I don't know how the finish actually is... I'm looking for a similar finish to X-22, but I can't find it in my country... Thought that X-35 would be the closest, but sadly I couldn't find much info on it 😕

Mala maqueta de Revell (fabricada en China), plastico baja calidad, algunas lineas de paneles en positivo (hacia fuera) y faltan muchos detalles de los remaches. Hay que tirar de masilla para rellenar las olguras entre las piezas pegadas...en fin que para un pricipiante va de maravilla, pero para un experto maquetista, es tirar el dinero. Creí que Revell hubiera cambiado y actualizado los moldes.

its the flapjack not the pancake the pancake has a longer nose on it and was never produce, bigger engine stuff like that but the flapjack was produce a few of them flown and tested

You don't really need air brush for it but can use a brush

That kit is absolutely Terrible 💯 If you can grab another 1/48 Tomcat you will be much much happier (Tamiya ,AMK,HOBBYBOSS .Even the academy and hasagawa are better models) anyway HAPPY scaling 👋
