Seems like there was some massive change in the reporting standards this year. Stats look nothing like the previous year, and I have a hard time believe every gym, on average, gained THAT much. Loved what you guys were doing 2020-2023 but overall, just seems like a much less useful product this year. Started as something that seemed focused on actually helping gym owners, but seems like more of a product designed to sell coaching now. Very disappointed - p.s. I spent about $13k on coaching with Two Brain this year. I do believe you guys are creating net positive results but I’m disappointed in the survey if I’m being totally honest. Hopefully next year is different

Please consider this a general "owner's manual to a vehicle." It's designed to be very helpful, but it can't replace your personal dashboard and your mentor's analysis. In Miami we pay 10k a month for 3200 sq ft, 30$ a hour for coaches or we have to coach and our churn is 10%. These numbers are a little different than ours.
That's OK! Just examples. We just published a blog on a gym with a $16,600 monthly lease and one staff member who makes $75,000 a year. Does your gym sell group classes or something else?

Honestly someone with that many certificates may not have spent any time applying them.
And you really only need the number of credentials that help you get the best results for the client. More for the sake of more isn't always better.

The best way to truly help them is letting them walk away if they are uncomfortable or unable to afford it. Not pressuring them into something.
What if the "uncomfortable" or "broke" person is just nervous about making a dramatic change that might greatly improve their health?
@@profitablegym That’s not your place to pressure them. If they are too nervous to sign up and you pour them into it, they’ll likely be too nervous to ever use it.
So if someone requested your help but is a little nervous about making important changes, you'd say "OK, bye" instead of addressing the concerns to set the person at ease?
@@profitablegym If they say “No, i cannot afford it” or “I need time to think on it”, yes. You’re scammy. We all know gym memberships are notoriously difficult to get out of and the representative pressure people into them. You are not in the business to help, you are in the business to make money- as your name suggest. I will no longer respond as I don’t want to further boost your algorithm.
Sounds good - we'll just seal off the discussion. We don't recommend that our gyms lock people into harsh contracts, and our company is based on the Help First principle, not "make money first." When people contact our gyms, they need help, and the gym owner can provide it. It would be wrong not to dig into "I need to think about it" when a person clearly needs the help of a professional trainer and booked a consultation to get that help.

That looked tough the objection to funds is something I would struggle with
Many people do! In some cases, you can adjust your prescription if funds are clearly limited: "No problem. Instead of PT, let's do group classes 3 times a week. You'll still get results, and we can add PT to go faster when you have some extra cash." Would something like that work for you?

How do you manage to not upset clients who feel awkward being filmed?
You can just avoid people who aren't comfortable with it, but must will love it when you put them on a podium. If you have a media section in your general waiver, you're A-OK to create content in every class!
