Setting credentials locked me and every windows machine out of the network drive, and now nothing I can do will get it to work again

Can I search a file within a folder and it's sub-folder opened by Window File Explorer ? I dont want to search a file from all hard drive as I know this file is in a specific sub-folder of a folder

For anyone struggling to fix this issue and has tried almost everything, what worked for me was getting an old backup file of my boot/config/smbpasswrd file and replacing it with the current one. For some reason my login credentials were missing in the file after restoring the entire USB after some other issues.

Okay bit how does daul pairty work sure if you did this twice it would allow two drive to fail only both pairty drives..

I would recommend integrating it with Flow Launcher

"How everything can help: wildcards" windows has been able to use wildcards forever now....

The only thing is, my OCD is killing me now that the array has Parity2 but no Parity1. And you cannot simply change from parity 2 to parity 1 :P The calculations used for parity1 and parity2 are different so the disks cannot simply be moved. If you want to move parity2 to the parity1 position then you would need to rebuild parity. The alternative is just to remove parity1 and run without it leaving parity2 in place

Thank you so much! Perfectly succinct. I went with the offline swap since similar to someone else in the comments, I could not live with "Parity 2" being there permanently haha. I would have yolo swapped since I keep backups but I also then thought I'd rather not have to restore backups just in case.

I use Everything Toolbar, but still prefer to have windows search for quick search for programs. I hope Everything Toolbar will get more customization in the future

Thanks for showing me the feature i've been looking for. I love this app and the only thing that was bugging me was how to always search in specific path and Add to Filters option solved all of my problems. Windows Search is probably the worst search option i've seen everywhere but Everything solves all of the hassle

Have you taken a look at 1.5 alpha?

Just got es.exe, added it to my PATH environment, and now I'm piping searches to files left and right, and then automating the files up and down.

I have two 8tb hdds. Can't i just mirror them so if one fails i have the other until i replace the first?

I also installed Everything Toolbar.
