I'm trying to program a vfd for a three phase agatator. I want to set it up to go forward for 5min reverse for 5 min then repeat untell I say stop. Can this be done with just the vfd or do I need a plc..

Could you share a link to the motor? I'm interested to see all the details about it, the brand, speed/torque, the exact type (I suppose it's an induction motor?) and other technical characteristics about it. Also size and weight.

Hello, thank you for sharing the circuit diagram. I have three questions: 1. Can you explain why the emitter for each IGBT is grounded together (instead of separately) with the V_EE (pin 5) of each respective optocoupler? In other words, should the low voltage be grounded separately from the high voltage? 2. The circuit diagram shows Arduino GND, Arduino_GND, GND, and GND1. Can you explain what GND1 is, as well as what the difference is between "Arduino GND" and "Arduino_GND"? 3. I thought that each optocoupler needs its own separate power supply. Is this the case for your circuit, or is there just one power supply for the six optocouplers? And, if only one, why?
