Thank you for archiving your old races, Mr. van de Poele. It's a good way to get new and longtime fans develop a much deeper appreciation of the sport's history. I hope we see others follow your example in the future, too!

Wow I totally forgot there was this unique oval race at Pikes Peak this is legendary! I’d love to see something like this brought back. Unfortunately it’s not possible in real life, but a high quality recreation for sim Racing would be absolutely amazing!

Great race, some very exciting onboards from Eric van de Poele.

I'm surprised Neville Hay called the Corollas wrongly - they were the rear wheel drive AE86 model. Interestingly, most European teams ran the 2 door notchback rather than the 3 door hatch version.

I remember that race, it was cold and miserable that day. My girlfriend was in open shoes and her feet were freezing. Had to go home even before the race ended. Sad, but my fascination for BMW was started there and then.
