Gava/GATe Animation Classes began in 1998 at Greenbelt Access Television under a pilot flipbook project offered by the Greenbelt Association for the Visual Arts/Gava.

Seasonal classes, including home school and special needs sessions have continued every year since then. Our youth-produced films have screened at more than 175 film festivals worldwide and are broadcast on our local public access television station, GATe.
