I have passed the "Mother" title to my daughter. I am now a grandmother and so a "Crone" and I think it fits me rather well. I enjoy crochet, Tarot, building altars, and travel. Oh my gosh! I don't know how I miss this video or how I just stumbled on it, you know how we scroll. My brain almost stroked out when you said my name! I am very sentient, Carrie. And I can feel a good soul. What's not to care about? You're a delight and definitely a standout in my viewing. We have incredibly similar mindsets and taste in art! Our collection is very parallel. Time is magical and we're into the future now and I'm still very much enjoying your channel. Thank you!

@@CandySoulAndSoil Not really, it's my fault for backing but it was the second try for funding and I wanted to help out. There's usually a reason why things don't get funded the first time.

@@kathykerr1202 Yeah, backing Kickstarters is risky. I have received enough stellar decks to outweigh the less than awesome ones. I get very sad when the creator is just a scam artist and they run away with our money.

@carriegrice I had a similar experience I that I would not have purchased Effluorescence if Little Monsters wasn't on the menu. Effluorescence has a special kind of sadness to it that the Little Monsters adorable levity balances out for me. Not that I'm pairing them together.
@@kathykerr1202 I usually have 2 tarot decks and 2 Oracle decks on my altar. Do you think they would be nice to use that way?
@@carriegriceI'm sure you have Oracle decks that you can pair with each one of the tarot decks! I don't think they would pair well together though but that's just me.

I have the names and artists of all the decks in the video. I'm sorry I didn't put them in the description this time. I usually do but I have felt very drained from the bronchitis. I might not get to it this time. Again, I'm sorry.
@carriegrice No problem. I hope you get better from the bronchitis. I used to suffer from that like 3 times a year until I started using Allegra- D and Mucinex at the first sign of post-nasal drip. I hope this tip can help you prevent it in the future. :)
@mysticalroseladyt so sweet that you understand!! I can't take decongestants though. They cause irregular heartbeats, I will faint, and have in the past, stop breathing. Kinda goofy the way my body reacts to those buggers. I am taking allergy meds. My doc switched them around. Thanks again for your kindness!!!

@carriegrice I read tarot and thought I was a crone. And I am in Spirit. But I am growing in my connection with Spirits passed. So far it's all good. I have been connected all my life but ran from it for 20 years. I can not run away anymore.

Thank you for your deep sharing! 🙏 Are there grades of reading tarot? I know, most of us, I assume, somehow, because of a cultural scheme, want to get "better" in reading. Is there a need of ambition? I find it very truthful, genuinely touching and important to be lovingly conscious of where I am or another person is in life right now. Being truly simple in tarot is releasing. Your pictures are rich. Love, kindness and warmth for you, your brother and your whole family... 🙏🤍
@@CefiLeaube I don't really believe there are "grades". I use it to illustrate how I feel about how I read compared to others. I honestly think that we read exactly how we are meant to but I also don't read for others. I think reading for others helps you develop more trust in what you see in the cards and you are able to take the readings to another level naturally. Some tarot readers practice by reading for characters in TV shows. I find that intriguing. Thank you so much for your love and kindness. It means the world to me.

@@OfWavesAndWinds as far as I can tell, they sometimes mention the myth that is referenced in the card but I believe the safe answer is no, they do not talk about the myths within the cards. For instance, the hanged man is Odin and they are clear that it is Odin but they do not tell why Odin is the hanged man.
In fact, the minors don't mention a particular story at all.

Yes, I buy many AI collaborative decks. There are more out there than you can imagine. I see many Tarot readers using AI collaborative decks and they are unaware.
I received this deck & book also, and am SO in love with them! I love how big the font is; it’s so much easier to read. And I absolutely love the colors in the cards; so vibrant and just so lovely to look at. I also love that the keywords & cards aren’t all positive either; there’s definitely some cards that made me go 😨 because of how intense they are (in a good way) - like that one succubus / danag card.

Hi Carrie. I love your daily spread that you shared. I have also been feeling like my single card pull in the morning is just not enough. Maybe it’s time I try something different. For some reason, I only use 1 deck in a reading. But maybe I should try multiple decks in my readings. I loved hearing you talk about your mom and the things you do together. I was my mom‘s full-time caregiver for 4 years before she passed, and even though she had both physical and mental limitations, the one thing we always did together was sit side-by-side on the couch and look through all her photo albums. She never got tired of that. I miss her every day. LOVED your vintage deck collection!

I played around reading cards for fictional characters just to get practice. It gave me the freedom that I don't allow myself when reading for my journal. Do you collect decks?
@@carriegrice I am new to tarot. I’ve only been studying and working with tarot for about two years. So to answer your question, I am not really a collector yet. I only purchase decks that help me learn the RWS system at this point. But I have definitely seen some indie decks that I would love to own. I’m just holding off until I feel more proficient at basic card meanings and learning how to read a spread.
