Overpriced and not made in USA.
thank you for your video
Your very welcome.
We need you , thanks
I appreciate the support!
When the master is ready the student will apear
Wow Outbound 46 is a high end reputable boat, those leaks should have been dealt with as soon as they were discovered.
She’s a beautiful boat with a sad history, I’m happy to see her getting back into good shape.
@@Everyday_Craftsman Are you able to share the history?
Now go get a 20’ x 30’ tarp to protect it from the sun. Screw 1 X 4 pt along the side through the legs and sandwich the tarp with another layer of PT.
What is "pt"?
What a great idea 💡
Can I ask how long did it take to set up looks good I have one coming in the next day or so
It only took a few hours and that includes filming
Thanks for not showing the completed product from the outside
You’re welcome 🤣
Great vid!
Thank you 🙏
This looks like a good frame, but the cover appears the same as my $200 10x20 canopy that lasted about a year in the weather.
Hultifors makes a fixed blade chisel knife you could have bought for 13 dollars. That bourbon blade is way overpriced for just using 14c28n steel
I do like the convenience of the folding chisel. Don’t know much about steels but it sure seems well built.
Love hearing you talk about the things holding you back and how you’re pushing past it. A great lesson for all of us.
Thank you
Would be a more informative review if you did more than unbox it. Some testing would be nice
Im definitely planning on making that video soon
I was about to order one then I saw that stupid logo
🤣
I am a big knife dude and have also been into woodworking for quite a few years now and thoroughly enjoy both JKM and Bourbon Moth , however this knife is a complete ripoff for the price and what materials it is. Not even close to being something that is worth purchasing for that price point.
It is expensive but it feels well made
Update?
It has held up well and will do an update video soon
Yes I definitely do jobs that should require more than one person lol. I’m about to build a 24x12x8 version of this by myself 😅
You can do it! 💪
If your not sure about the style of the blade Get a Mora Chisel Knife and try it out
I’ll have to check it out
Me too
Crying about packaging 😂
It did make me tear up a little 🥹
Sorry about the packaging. Although that it rare, I'll have a talk with my team to make sure that future ones go out better protected. I am glad you like it. I recommend beating it up haha. We designed it to be a tank and it is really easy to sharpen. That lock will wear in and be a little smoother here in a few weeks. Cheers my friend.
It definitely has, it’s a great blade! Any chance of getting an affiliate link for it? 😉
Awesome!
Did you catch my longer video about it? (Spoiler alert: I love it)
Got mine a month ago, made in China, traded it for a coupon for a made in MERICA Benchmade!
It’s made in China ?,!?!?
Benchmade will probably be my next purchase for edc as the chisel is pretty heavy although that makes it great for work days
Nizzal
For riz
Any indication in the packaging about where it is manufactured? Sent a couple of requests for that information to KM and BM but never heard back. My guess is not the US...😢
I’m not sure, I think I chucked the box but I’ll look around
this is potentially a one time product so I'm thinking QC is going to be a bit lacking but I'm stoked to put mine to work
Heard there have been some qc issues...any updates on your experience?! Im waiting on mine on order 2 hoping i dont get a turd
@@charlesschmuckatelli7888can’t imagine Jason wouldn’t make it right on any QC issue…
I love mine so far
@@Everyday_Craftsman I'm still waiting on mine :(
I picked one up as a facilities guy....scraping seals n shit doesn't require a 2nd hand but a sharp blade is must. I look forward to getting my south paw blade!😊
Love mine! Got it Friday
Did you get an email when it shipped
I think so
Can’t wait for mine to show up seems like a bad ass knife
Just got mine. Love it.
Most axis locks are a bit stiff out of the box but after a few months but they smooth out once all the surfaces marry through friction. I popped one of the scales off mine to look at the omega springs and they're pretty beefy little springs as well.
It’s pretty rad
I just wonder how useful the folding action is. There's many manufacturers that have this blades style with a fixed handle. Morakniv, garret wade, and even more available on Amazon. I understand wanting to support creators but maybe I'm just not enough of a knife guy.
I love it as a pocket knife and I can throw it in a pouch without worry of it getting cut up or the chisel dulled.
Wow you got yours already? My label has been created….. lol
$160 is wild, it being sold it is even more wild
Have you been outside? Everything is crazy expensive
$160 is what the cheapest benchmade folders cost, everything is expensive now because of Trump's PPP loans and stimulus checks
It’s definitely a premium product
@@coolbugfacts1234so unbelievably incorrect I assume is sarcasm. But more importantly this is a straight rip off. He initially tried to say it was some new invention, it’s Chinese, and nothing even remotely new
@@stoff6969 ripoff of what? and what did i say that was incorrect? benchmades are indeed expensive and trump gave a trillion dollars to the rich through PPP loans, expanding the monetary supply and jacking up inflation
Maybe it has sold out as their link doesn't work. The only one that works is the bundle with the t-shirt. I'm not a knife person. But it looks to me that it's trying to be a knife and a chisel. But does it do either of those well? Looking forward to your review.
So far so good, it’s big but very well made.
At $399 the 12’x20’ HF one seems to be a much more robust choice…
I’ll have to take a look at that
It's for liability so you can't sue them for your shoes being destroyed by the Epoxy or if contaminated shoes leads to a poisoning. They get to say "Look here your supposed to destroy shoes contaminated by our product. So you can't sue us" . Corporations are not friends to your wallet.
Haha, so true
That does not look weatherproof. How’s it holding up?
I was a little concerned about that as well but after using my buddies, I figured it was worth it as a temporary shop space. It has held up pretty well so far. No leaks or rips yet but I’m sure that will happen eventually. I have seen thicker replacement covers but haven’t priced them out yet. So far, I do recommend it. It has held up through some good winds as well.
if you put a little bed in there for him, he will start coming at night, and will be your personal mouser too! seeing as its outdoors im assuming there may be pests, cats will keep it insect free too. and btw, you arent allowed to get any work done when the prince georgie is present.
Prince Georgie, I love it! He does have a bed and house on the front porch, we are doing everything we can for him❤️
@@Everyday_Craftsman if you are in a place where it gets real cold... they have heating pads that are microwavable and you can just slip under their bed. they last about 5-6 hours. especially if he doesnt let you touch him alot. once he DOES, put something you wear frequently, like a scarf ot something in the bed as well... once they claim you, scent markers are huge for attracting them longer. he will recognize your scent as home
I’ll definitely give all that a try.
Another kitty dad! Congrats on your newly adopted furry helper!
Thank you! 😊
The cat distribution system at work ❤
Love it!
Take him home he chose you!
I have three strays that i feed at work... They have that same "wild eyed" look in their eyes.
That’s wonderful, they sure do
Wood smells so good. My husband was a custom cabinet maker for 15 years. He can do any type of carpentry.
It sure does, he sounds like a great woodworker
Georgie has decided to take the job.
Lol 3 tools I'd never buy
Why not?
Just did a short on my pile of twisted metal and tarp ha.
Haha
These tents last about 1.5 years and are a total waste of time and money. The covering is too thin, rips easily, and can't be taped for a repair. Further, they have the wrong shaped roof. The roof should be semi-circular which allows snow at the edges to slide off under its own weight leaving less weight when the snow picks up moisture. My wife and I put up two 30' x 20' tent garages from Covertech Garage by ourselves. We were each 73 years of age. Four years later, I erected a 12' x 35' Covertech, singlely, just to prove that I could do it myself. It's been 9.5 years since the first building without any problems. To secure the ground contacting horizontal poles, inch and a half slots in concrete deck blocks were widened with a cold chisel to accept these pole diameters. These deck blocks were slightly lowered into fitting ground depressions to keep the base of the tents from sliding as well as to level the base. Hoops are further secured from wind-shifting by ground-anchoring bands, manufacture-supplied, over the hoops. A bargain tarp, 60' x 90' was cut into three 20' x 30' pieces. Two were used as floor coverings while the third was fixed at the 8' height with spanner ropes. This stops condensation from dripping on collecter cars in that tent. A number of cheap tarps were pegged to cover the floor of the 12'x 35'. All lower sides of tents were buried in soil for stability and an attempt to dicourage rodents.
Nice work and great ideas, the roof would be a challenge with snow.
When you spend 6-8 times the amount of money on it you should expect what you experienced. Thanks for the tip. It's an investment for sure.
YES!... I recently installed an attic pull down staircase by myself. I looked at them on Amazon, after reading the reviews, both good and bad, I'd be interested in knowing what you think of it after 6-12 months. Hope you don't get much wind there.
Wind is minimal as long as we don’t get a hurricane. I’ll definitely do a follow up video.
