I came across your video searching for Wild Mountain Thyme, banjo, and I was mesmerized. Your arrangement almost brings tears to my eyes. So I started going through your other videos. I love your style, and would like to learn how to play a lot of them, but I am an old guy, and a relative beginner, so I really need tabs. I am going to try to make my own from watching and listening to your videos. It will be a long and arduous process, but worth it in the end I suspect. Well done!
Thanks so much Robert. I never really got to tabbing anything out but someday when I get the time, I may do some tabs for my arrangements on here. My approach is usually to keep things as simple as possible and bring out the melody as much as I can. I think the notes should stand out cleanly enough for you to learn from and TH-cam has that great facility to slow down videos without altering the pitch. If you're ever stuck on a bit or phrase, feel free to message me and I'll do my best to explain how I did it. Really appreciate your comments. All the best.......Conor.
Robert. I added an email address here today. If you go to my channel, then click on "more".......beside "more about this channel" at the top of the page, then it should appear under the pop-up, "about". Hopefully that should work.
Aww, Susan. Thank you for mentioning, me, but you didn't have to. I am humbled by your positive remark about my short fiction, Bleeding Stubs. Glad you enjoyed it.
Great to hear such a nice Irish tune on the banjo and played so nicely. I have been playing along with you to learn it for myself and enjoying it so much, many thanks for putting it on, hope you bring some more Irish music to TH-cam.
Yep. I did commercial flight training in California many years ago. Got all the American qualifications but ran out of funds to get the European ones and haven't flown since. It was a great experience.
👏

@@GuyAwoke I'd like to send you a private message, but I don't know how to do it, or even if I can.

Did you learn this from any particular tab?
My own arrangement but I do want to get it tabbed out, hopefully soon.
Did you ever tab this? It's the only picking arrangement I've seen and in my opinion the most beautiful
