Camping, hiking, fishing and outdoor experiences as a beginner!
Temu UNBOXING! Is it WORTH It? + Update
A bit different video, not sure if like it or if I will even continue any more of these types of videos.
So these do seem like decent poles for pan fishing and maybe even some small bass. I wouldn't use them for anything bigger than that. Is it worth it? I would say yes. Under $10 for the bundle. I haven't actually tested the gear out yet, this is more of a eye test.
Update: It's winter here in Michigan so I'm not fishing much. However, I do still plan to fish and camp in the winter and to continue doing these videos! but I really hate the cold...
Also working on a fix for the audio issue.
More videos soon! Stay tuned...

The Rogue River: The PERFECT Spot for Salmon!
มุมมอง 172หลายเดือนก่อน
I finally found the salmon further up the river and managed to catch my first one! Pretty excited considering this was only my third time ever wading. I was up at the Tippy Dam the other week and got skunked so I was happy to finally get something especially this late into the season. Thornapple River: The LAST Time I Go Here... Here's why
มุมมอง 2142 หลายเดือนก่อน
Finally was able to land a solid smally. My last few trips I've had bad luck but at least I can always count on finding a few lures here and there. With the season changing, it seems the fishing is slowing a bit too. This will be the last time I come here this year. I'm going to try to branch out into other areas with the remainder of the warm weather. Also I apologize in advance, the Dam and t...
The Rogue River: Salmon Run or Something Else?
มุมมอง 1.5K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
Tried my luck again on the Rogue. A lot has changed. The water level is significantly lower and the brush higher. Honestly, have not had great luck my last few trips. Maybe because of the season change? Not sure but I figured I would try this spot one more time this year... Also tried to talk a bit more to the camera, still feels weird 😥 Rogue River Rockford, Michigan
I Caught ANOTHER Pike! (GIANT)

We were fishing for about 4 hours and caught nothing... we literally said 10 more minutes then BOOM! This guy looked like a monster as I was reeling him in and to be honest those teeth were really intimidating. This fish definitely saved the trip! Catching My First Pike & a MYSTERY FISH!
มุมมอง 803 หลายเดือนก่อน
I'm back at the Grand River Open Space, and this time I’ve got my brother by my side! We had an amazing time, reeling in 3 bass and 1 pike together. We switched it up with paddle tails, Senko's, crankbaits, spinners, and more. But the fish were all about the Senko's, as usual! I even hooked the pike with a Senko, which totally blew my mind! I landed 3 amazing fish today! They were super aggressive in this spot, which was incredible. I hooked 1 with a Senko/Wacky rig and the other 2 with a crankbait. The weather was perfect-cloudy and in the 70's-but I honestly didn't think I'd catch anything here, so I got a late start filming. The last 2 times I came here, I got skunked. This became more of a highlight video because I wasn't seeing a ton of action here this time around. I'm glad I got to finally explore this area more because this area offers a lot! I saw tons of wildlife including; a baby fox, turtles, deer, snakes, caterpillars a eagle and of course fish! I will probably be doing quite a few videos here because there is still much to explore and a lot of grou...

are those little houses already there at the campsites if so that's awesome.
@@Nateworship991 Yup exactly!! It was perfect!! I need another trip up there soon haha
for stability, I would put some modifications into that Kayak like PVC pipe attached to some crab floats especially with camera gear unless it's water proof
@@Nateworship991 That's a great idea! I've thought about adding some things but honestly, I'm afraid to ruin it😂 I'll have to do some more research first before I do anything like that haha
any day fishing is better than being at work great content
@@Nateworship991 1000%!! Couldn't agree more thank you so much!😊
you ever eat the bass they are really good alot of people don't eat them
@@Nateworship991 I've never tried it but I heard mixed things. I think I will make a video of me trying it since I've always wondered how it tastes!!
Nice video! I caught 2 down there this morning also on spinners. One was a nice king that still looked fairly fresh. Also you should be fine eating that fish. As long it’s not turning white it is just preference. Fillets won’t be as pink as a few weeks ago but still safe to eat. Actually pretty good if you smoke it.
@@matthewmiller5177 That's awesome bro! Spinners are where it's at I wish I knew that sooner haha! Got it! I'll keep that in mind next time! I love smoked fish
I am surprised you caught a fish, we don't catch any fish in that river. We even fished the same spot you are at this summer.
@@grantdubridge7995 I really feel it's been slow at that spot. I've been there legit maybe 10 times this year and caught a few here and there but nothing crazy. I've talked to a few others there and they said they haven't had any luck either so Im not sure what the deal is
I would not say they are still running. They are still there and not dead yet. But some are also dead laying around rotting. Most people going there are looking for Steelhead now. I hope you did not eat that fish. It was definitely beyond its prime. Good job making the video.
@@grantdubridge7995 The fly fisherman next to me basically said the same thing. I was disappointed especially it being my first one ever. I didn't have a net so I basically used the stringer to secure it while I was in the water and if I'm being completely honest... I was a little nervous to hold it😅 never caught a fish anywhere near that size lol. I really appreciate it bro!
Thanks brotha, I’m from NC but will be here for a couple days. Thinking about fishing the dam in Rockford. Haven’t seen much about people fishing here but by that dudes pissy comment I guess it’s pretty good 😂😂
@@FlyDelt 😂😂 that dude is a weirdo lmao. Also I heard the dam has been on fire from a buddy of mine! Haven't tried it but might be worth shot! Good luck bro🎣🫡

I like your shirt!!
@@jeremywilliams2340 Thank you! I had it made kind of as a rough draft. But this will be the only shirt I wear now for every video😂 if the weather permits anyways lol
@@OuterTrail You should put those in a content creator store on your account. I'll purchase one when they're available!!
@@jeremywilliams2340 Wow that would be so awesome to see other people wearing one too! I don't have the shop unlocked yet I think I need 1k subscribers and a lot more watch time on my videos. I will do that eventually though! It will be a long road but that's the goal I really appreciate that!!
I have fished this many times. It is a nice quiet lake with a big history. There used to be a very busy beach there and people would come there and get swimming lessons. A lot of the old Wyoming people learned to swim there.
@@grantdubridge7995 Really!? Wow that's so cool! I never knew that and I actually grew up in Wyoming. It's such an underrated park! I've only fished it a few times but it's beautiful. I honestly just discovered it a few years ago, I wish I knew it was there growing up!
I like using the Hula Popper for Pike. They come right out of the water when they are attacking it.
@@grantdubridge7995 Hula Popper got it! I will be searching for some at Cabella's very soon to give it a try haha!! Thank you!🎣
Oh ya, the old gravel pit ponds. You aren't old enough to remember when they were trucking all that gravel out. I grew up near there and picked tomatoes, for Motmans Farm Market, just up the road in a field that is now another small lake. This was the areas biggest cement making company just a half mile up that road also.
@@grantdubridge7995 Oh wow thats awesome! I pass that big Motmans sign every time on the way there! Very interesting! Thanks for sharing that info with me!
Not very likely to catch a salmon with a worm on the bottom like that.
@@aaronstrohmeyer1037 You're right. I will try a bead or spawn sac next time!!
Pretty sure that spot is above the dam, no salmon
@@mitchellhelmus7686 That would make a lot of sense😭😅 whoops lol
Great fishing and I appreciate how well you handle the fish. Most people on here just chuck them back into the water. It shows that you respect the fish as a living animal which is more than can be said for many anglers unfortunately. I will probably fish this dam next time I’m in Grand Rapids.
@@SkunkEscape Thanks so much dude! I always try to respect the environment and its creatures the best I can and it makes me really happy that someone can see that too! I really love this comment! Good luck! I hope you get some nice ones!!🎣
@@OuterTrail no problem bro, I subscribed to you so will keep an eye out for more of your fishing videos. Keep up the good work!

@@Michigananglingadventures I really appreciate that bro!!! There are definitely a few hidden gems here! I'm hoping to get out on the east side on the Au Sable and other areas hopefully this fall! If not, then next year for sure! You got some sick videos yourself I'm subbing too!🎣
@@OuterTrail thank you man! I appreciate that too!! Im excited to venture to the west half this fall, I want to hit the grand at a couple points
Hey, just a thought, with that many crawfish try using them for bait.
@@misterinadequate3518 That might be a good idea! I'm not even sure what would bite on that but I'll do some research and maybe try it out! Thank you sir!
@@OuterTrail Well, Bass, crappie, catfish, trout bite on them around here(Central, NY). Not sure where the Rogue River is but I'm sure you have some of those.
@@misterinadequate3518 Gotcha never knew that! Worth a shot! And it's in Michigan!
@@OuterTrail Also, if I was looking for Salmon I would be probably using egg sacks, just a thought. Spinners are good too. Always bring a number of options.
@@misterinadequate3518 So far I've heard spinners, egg sacs and spoons have all been pretty successfully, time to stock up😅 thanks again!
It’s a pretty stretch of river, you just need to find a hole and get some spinners
@@Outdoor_Addictions I feel like finding the good spots are the hardest part for me but I will keep trying!!
Try spawn, shrimp, beads, pink worms, or spinners. Use a float so your bait is moving naturally. Your luck will change..Jordan’s has made some great how to videos on addicted fishing. He will tell you everything. If you have any questions just ask I’ll share everything I know
@@Outdoor_Addictions Thanks for the advice!! I'll check those out too!🎣🤞
Middle of the salmon run and you are the only one there? As a beginner try following the pack right at first to see how and where to fish😊
@@Outdoor_Addictions Yeah I'm probably not in the right spot haha! I visited the Tippy Dam the other day and it was PACKED! I just scouted it no fishing. It's a little intimidating when I don't really know what I'm doing😂. Thank you for the advice I will try to follow it!
Then,i see the crawdads😂😂 You have the same kind of worms they sell in Ohio
@@ShawnTyler-mm4oh Crazy that they were going for it lol and wow thats kinda cool!!
I clicked on,when you Said, Got all prepared, and bought worns🤣 That shit was funny cause,i thought you were going to say Got all prepared, brought everything i needed.. That statement told me,your whole trip, depends upon your worms... Typical thoughts, for any fisherman.
