OBON is basically a send off party for the spirits. They light already marked out characters on mountain tops to show and lead the spirit home. Hope you enjoy the video ^_^

This is just a quick update on my grad school application and an insight on how I personally deal with disappointments. Some people have different ways of dealing with disappointment, but this is how I deal with mine. Hope you find it helpful or useful :3

Well I must say you looked very cold even when you were inside.Where about in Canada were you ?
lol yeah, the Tibetan restaurant was a little cold because we were right in front of the door....not so great on an exceptionally cold day :3 I was in Toronto. That day was on of the coldest days of the month.
Beautiful Temples the area seemed quite serene.With practice I am sure your camera work will improve so please keep posting.

I've been in Japan before, but didn't get an apartment....they are quite small!! But again, considering its just for one person, it sufficient :) From your question, it seems like you've been somewhere in Asia before. Where? :)

So firstly Happy Christmas.Its been a few years but Bangkok has some very interesting markets with different fruits etc.The royal palace with the temple of the emerald Buddha is wonderful but very early in the morning is best before the tour buses arrive is best.Don,t know what prices are like.My sister spent most of her time around Tokyo she is very interested in gardens & design.So what r u studying in Japan ? So where in Canada r u from?

Oh...early morning risers lol im usually the one that sleeps till about 12 noon on holidays :3 lol ....the tour buses will def beat me there lol Tokyo!! Nice!! This is my second time in Japan, but I've not been to Tokyo yet :( Planning on going next year though :) so looking forward to that! Im actually doing my masters, in business admin. Pretty much just started, in October...a little over 3 semesters to go. Im from the Toronto area. Where are you from?
