Dave: I didn’t think that we had made a classic album… Krist: it announced a new guard in rock music. A new regime. 😂😂

"Inconceivable" is an excellent way to describe the likelyhood of a Punk/Garage Rock band from Seattle getting MJ the f outta here and being #1 in America.

Nevermind sounds like a polished turd. A Jack Endino recording or even Steve Fisk, would have sounded so much better.

a lot of you are easily convinced and swayed by a flesh and blood man spouting nonsense philosophies and opinions. a lot of “well what if?”s and “think about it this way”s. these aren’t good ideas to stand on and life your life by. i will admit he said some interesting and useful things but to take everything he said and think it’s this new revelation or to take it as an absolute theological philosophy is wary

Amazing. The first guy anticipated 50 thousand copies sold. The second guy hoped for half a million copes to be sold. As of today, over 30 million copies of Nevermind have been sold. They really had no idea what a massive bombshell they had in their hands. Nevermind is one of the few albums I can listen to, over and over, and never skip a track. The flow is perfection.

I wonder if a producer got a flat fee, or would get a bump or points, based on album sales.

The guys at Sub Pop didn't do much for Nirvana. Sub Pop was too busy sinking money into Green River, and as a result were going under until Geffin bought Nirvana's contract from them, and agreed to put "Sub Pop" label on the back of Nevermind as part of the deal.

Fuck Charles r cross he speaks in his books and when he talks like he was Kurt Cobain himself in his mind what he was thinking and what he was doing he grabbed the bark scan from the refrigerator and he grabbed the shotgun and he walked the 13th steps up to above the room above the garden house before he put the gun barrel to his mouth and he thought about what he was going to do before he pulled the trigger that writer has no idea what he's talking about when he's writing his books boycott Charles R cross

it's crazy how much better Nevermind is than Bleach. Bleach is average at best. About a girl was good. School was tight too but the rest was forgettable.
