Hello everyone, this channel is about the use of my DJI Mavic Pro quadcopter, and I will be producing videos of any subjects that catch my interest as I like to show things from an aerial point of view. All comments regarding my videos would be welcome, and I will take on board any tips, feedback, or constructive input to try and improve my videos. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and also I appreciate you taking the time to check out my videos, so please feel free to subscribe to my channel to keep up to date with the latest videos as they are posted. If you like what you see tell your friends, and if you don’t, tell your enemies to watch them, and laugh as they suffer. (All joking aside I like to show the area where I live in a good way, and the comments I have received as been very complimentary. ) Thanks for watching.
Best regards....Ian. Fly safe and have fun.

I hope this video and the music are restful enough to help us all deal with these unusual times, and also give us hope for a return to normal times. Take care and stay safe.

I left Hartlepool in 1986, but it still has a huge place in my heart, great to see the town where I spent the first 21 years of my life.
Love it thank you very much from an expat living in Washington state USA now
I am glad you like the video and thank you so much for your comment. Regards Ian.
Nice job fella, welcome to Hartlepool
You are welcome. Regards Ian.
I knew C.D. Murray - he had great classic cars. Do you remember his 1947 Bentley Mark 6 with 'clipped wings? I think it has re-emerged on the old car scene
I expect they have fixed the iron pallisade fence on the main road there by now! One night in about 1969, while driving from Sunderland to Byers Green near Spennymoor, I hit black ice at high speed and spun the car, a 1964 Lotus Cortina Mk1. We went backwards up the small embankment from the main road and took out about 30 metres of fencing. Damage to the car did not preclude driving away however although the boot was bashed to death! I would have left a note but could find any pen and paper!
If Nissan is located in Sunderland, why aren't Nissan cars exported from Sunderland
The cars made at Sunderland are exported to other countries including Japan. 👍
@@lip149 from which port are they exported?
Hi Michael. The main reason for using the Port of Tyne at South Shields is because they have a large amount of land for parking the cars until they are ready for transportation. Also some of the cars are transported via road and train to be sent over to Europe. Also I worked part time as a car jockey for an agency which did I had finished my main job for the day, and this was to fund my holidays. My agency involved shuttling cars about at Nissan or the port of Tyne depending which depot required a driver. If you want to see how big the car storage area is just go on Google Earth and have a look at the Port of Tyne to check out the car parking area’s for the new cars. I hope this helps to give you a better understanding of the working of the Nissan industry and how it works. Regards Ian.
@@lip149 hi, I am grateful for this explanation.
The Wingrove depot was the car dealership side of the business, and Blaydon depot was for HGV and commercial vehicles. The day I started my apprenticeship in 1962 all the new apprentices were divided into two groups and one lot stayed at Wingrove, and the other group went to Blaydon. Working there was an experience I will never forget.. It was excellent. Happy days. 👍😊
Ahhh right! Murray and Charleton's old place is now the car wash on the West Road?! I've come across the name over the years, but it was Dutton Forshaw by the time I was in the motor trade. Obviously, I'm aware of the Chainbridge Road dealership, but I've never known, (and often wondered,) what constituted the "Wingrove Depot" on Westgate Road. (Although "depot" should have been a bit of a clue!) Amazing the things that you stumble across.
Great video Ian, i just visited a few weeks ago with my Mavic mini, was quite a windy day tho.......! 👍👍👍
nice video but couldn't see anything of the market area as the title says
Hi Sean. Thanks for your comments as I appreciate feedback of any kind, and I will be more accurate in future. I have done a video to the "Word" at the market and some of the nearby area if you fancy a look. Regards Ian.
@@lip149 definitely, I enjoy your videos 😎
My place of birth ;) Arbeia!
Doesn't Hartlepool and everywhere when I think about it look nice on a nice day from the air but when you get down to ground level in certain places it's a different story
Hi Jack and the Pals. I have always tried to promote the UK, and especially the North East, and when I have posted videos on the DJI website I have had positive comments on our part of the country from far and wide. I appreciate and respect your comments and I will carry on pushing our end of the country. Ps. One guy from America queried one of my comments I made about being a Geordie, and I gave him a quick history lesson. We are now Internet Pals.
tbf There is good and bad everywhere... I am from pool but live down south and it's full of issues in the South ...alcoholics..druggies and loads more homeless people ect .... so Hartlepool isnt all bad and its cheaper too !!
I think you're just paranoid..............lol and anyway, it's 2019 not 2018 :)
It's been a while since I've posted any videos. 😁
gorgeous coastline and always amazes me how big the quarry is and you wouldn't even know it's there from ground level
Many thanks Gaz.
Excellent once again. :)

Fabulous. Great movement and great shots, and wow, what a fantastic day. :)
