This is definitely the best use of cel shading on a figure. The colors just pop unlike marvel legends where a lot of their cel shaded figures are too muted. I also like how the cel shading doesn't have a specific source of light, so when posing it still looks natural. Again marvel legends has a habit of putting cel shading too aggressively on a specific area

Unfortunately the 90s series and Spectacular Spider-Man are the only two shows to do Venom properly in my opinion.

Mondo has always been having QC issues. basically from paint to design to price point. Lots of issues. But they somehow get some good licenses that draws in people. It's sad because Mondo does not know how to budget their products properly and go into shading FOMO business tactics. That's being said, excellent customer service. Just way over priced for a 12" figure.

And for the record Mondo figures are pretty much always not worth the price. They are basically 6" figures enlarged to a 12" size. But they try to market them as one sixth scale toys to give out the false illusion of being high end when they are not. I have a lot of issues with Mondo but somehow they end up getting pretty good licenses. And I end up buying they stuff to get disappointed.

Mondo's toys are way over priced. but they do have excellent customer service. Quick response, and understanding. Probably because they know they have a lot of QC issues. It's sad because my Spiderman has a broken leg. And I have to be extra careful with my Venom. Sigh!

The figure looks great but one thing bothers me is that the top of head looks like indented in the middle, and now I just see a butt.

It's definitely up there for me, before this I would say Omega Red was my favorite 1:6 Mondo figure, but this one has so many more options to display. The sculpts on every portrait is just phenomenal.

No need to hold your thumbs Brick! The Jazzinc Catwoman is going to be amazing. Would a HT be great sure..but no need to hold on to false hope for something that may never come! (Are we still betting on it?) Artisan Black Widow is going to be amazing. The version I had been waiting for!
