Update??
i am curious to know how its going for you now
What day was the drug test… first day or second day ??
What is the skills test far as backing?
I am an old timer retired police officer and Marine. I've had a CDL for 30 years now. Kept it live with a current Medical card. I am ready to apply to TranAm because I do not want to go out on the road with a trainer at all. I'm afraid if I get to the school that i will fail due to backing, serpentine etc.. Any words of encouragement? Any tips.. Thank you.
Iam start on the July 18
Iam going to work for Trans Am
Are you still there?
What’s going on man ? How are you liking TransAm so far ? Are you company or lease operator. I head out to Rockwall TX terminal on the 13th ? Just trying to get some good in sight. I signed up to do Texas Regional and they told me I would make 57 cpm . Idk how true that is. Really just needing the experience but I would love to see that 1k + a week . Hope to hear back from you soon
He bailed...
Hello, you still with Transam? Been wanting to see how the Transam lease option is going for you...how is it going?
Hey Chris, how is it going? Been looking for a video from ya. I know Transam as a company driver, been waiting on your next video so we can get a good account about the lease side.
Hey man looking forward to seeing more videos would you suggest lease or company I'm fairly new to trucking i.e. 2 months experience
Thanks for the compliment. I’m working on a few now. It’s totally a decision that you, the individual has to make. Some ppl can make it work and some can’t.
What did you do on Sunday ? The last day of orientation
Go over some last minute driving details. Then go to the local pilot to go over fueling, trans flo etc….nothing major.
I got 2 more days here at Tampa terminal , praying I pass the test on Sunday on the course 🙏🏽🙏🏽
What’s the lease payment per week? Thanks for the video
It varies from $695-$700 depending on the year of the truck that you choose. I appreciate you watching.
Ive been with Trans Am for 7 months now... i like it and things are well. Good luck man
Were you a new driver when you got the trans am job?
Have you got your truck yet? What type of lease It is it? Walk Away Lease or Lease to own
Yes. I got into my truck Thursday a week ago. It’s a walk away lease, with option to purchase after 5 years. Renewable six (6) months at the time. There’s money to be made with a lease. It’s up to the individual. Most of the knuckleheads out here bad mouthing Trans Am will usually bad mouth any company. Most of the time, the company isn’t the problem but the knuckleheads themselves! Thanks for watching. If you found the videos and responses helpful please line and subscribe. I just invested in some new equipment to bring you guys/girls even better quality future videos.
Is orientation paid weekly or daily
It’s paid weekly. And there is a withholding week.
Do you have a choice of trucks at all? Do the trucks have refrigerators or double bunks?
The choice of trucks really depends on if you’re lease or company. And what they have available at the time. Yes, they have refrigerators and double bunks.
How many miles per week does it take to pull a decent check? I’m looking at going lease in mid November. Thanks and appreciate the info on the videos
Minimum of 2400 a week. But if you go lease you’re definitely going to get more than that. It’s all about knowing the ELD and working your hours and recap time correctly. Thanks for watching and make sure that you subscribe to the channel. I’ll be dropping videos almost daily.
@@reelclosetrucking6925 Are you still with TA? If so, how’s it going?
@@KyJCB123 yea, I’m still here. Sorry I’m just getting back to you. Out here running wide open! It’s going great. No complaints so far. Appreciate your questions. I’m gonna be investing in some go pros to get you folks some new footage and updates. Thanks again for checking us out!
You are absolutely right all of the you tubers are always bashing the company for them not getting home if there are things that need to be done get them out of the way before coming to orientation and so what about trying to get home for the holidays suck it up
Exactly. I’ve always said that if you can’t handle being away from home for any extended period of time…this definitely isn’t the best job for you!
@@reelclosetrucking6925 KEEP ON TRUCKING BRO
I'm like you dude. I've been out of my truck for a few years now. Driven a lot of things with wheels, tracks etc. I'm not married anymore, don't need home time anymore. I going to spend the mortgage money on fun!! I drove 2800- 3200 miles a week in the past, I think Tran am is a little less and that's ok! New drivers can learn a lot on TH-cam! See you in Tampa, I'm in the Keys!
Good deal man. I’m waiting on a 22’ KW now. Supposed to be here tomorrow. Good luck on your endeavors!
So how’s things going? I’m starting on next week going to Dallas terminal. I’m just like you not married not worried about getting home. Is the orientation payed? I forgot to ask. I worked for Roehl for about a year that was the worst job I ever had, hope this is a step up.
Nick, everything is going great here. Although, I can only speak for the Tampa terminal because that’s where I am. Not sure how it’s done in Rockwall. Yes orientation is paid. Thanks for watching my video. The complete orientation compilation will be posted around Monday. If you would, subscribe to my channel…it helps me keep you guys posted!
Trans Scam , huh! Seems like you’re one of those “ if it didn’t work for me, it won’t work for thee!” I’ve seen two comments about two different companies from you…and they were both negative. I wonder if the companies are the real problem here?!
@@reelclosetrucking6925 is that what you call being lied to negative, tightening up your butt it’s about to get real for you. talk to me in a few months I bet you will be singing a different tune. Your expectations must be real low. Lol
@@nicklong9985 the first part of your comment makes absolutely no sense! It’s all gibberish. Like I said…because it didn’t work for you, it can’t possibly work for anyone else, right? You need to work on putting together a coherent sentence, anyways not working in the trucking industry. Get back to me when you accomplish the sentence task.
@@reelclosetrucking6925 look dude all I have to say is you can’t fix stupid. lol This company loves stupid people or felons who they can miss treat, which one are you probably both, congratulations.
