The September 5, 2024, Committee for Dulles Sustainable Infrastructure Breakfast with Keynote Speaker Todd Flowers of Dominion Energy. One of MWAA’s major projects as part of their sustainable initiatives at Dulles International Airport is the development of a 100MW solar array and 50MW battery storage project in unique partnership with Dominion Energy.

On October 12, 2023, the Committee for Dulles’ Legislative & Economic Development Committee received a presentation from Monica Backmon, CEO of the Northern Virgina Transportation Authority. Her presentation gave the committee an overview of the work of the Authority.
