January 4, 2025: This tutorial for the granny heart has been a game-changer for me. I'm incorporating hearts into a blanket for my granddaughter, scattering them throughout the material. Though I struggled with the square, your guidance has turned my project around. Thank you for the inspiration!

U can make it cuter by adding pink plastic nose and thin threads attached at one point for the whiskers rest is all perfect

Do you have an easy daisy granny square pattern that you can do a slow tutorial on? That is my goal to learn.

Is the glide, or smoothness, easier using a metal crochet hook vs a plastic one? The plastic one I've been using feels like there is resistance when sliding it to crochet.
Believe it or not I have never used a plastic hook. I’ve used the same metal Susan Bates hooks since I started crocheting over 30 years ago. I have a very smooth glide. Buy 1 or 2 and give it a try. Resistance would drive me nuts lol
