[MapleStory Kronos] Kain Extreme Lotus Solo
This is my first solo after 9 attempts and 10.5 hours after boss release.
Extreme Lotus is the most fun boss I've ever done in this game and it's not even close. The combination of constant hit-and-run tactics, alert level management and the fairness of most attacks' hitboxes and damage (screw the debris that stuns in dash's dark sight and the vertical bombardment), and this class' kit makes a fight that I want to do over and over again.
This run can be plenty optimized and my time can be cut shorter with more experience and better play.
Thanks to everyone that offered to buff me for my runs :)

the grindstone didnt hit Hard Kaling is definitely the hardest boss I've progressed to date. Taking hits and strings massively shifts the gauge and does more damage, there's very little room for error if you're cheesing, and for a min clear like this you're on a time limit where you have to clear P1 on pace or else you may not have enough time to clear. First clear after ~3 weeks and 20-30 runs. P3 was pretty sloppy and my play wasn't the greatest but I am very relieved to have cleared in the last run of the week. Inspired by MojoubuGMS. Self-imposed restrictions included running the boss using clean genesis weapon, green pot only, full opacity, and no monster outline. I think you should aim for 42.5 no origin/85 with origin in 40s on a ckalos dummy without sacred, but I'm not too sure.

Really sick man. Amazing control on the class. I have similar damage to you but on easy mode which ive been praccing a couple days. So far ive only managed to get to like 60% p2. I miss alot of shots which just throw the run. But ill keep praccing maybe ill manage it soon.
Thanks so much, I struggled to focus at some parts during the run but glad the patterns were okay overall. Hitting shots is super important but knowing when to cleanse a system might be just as important as well. For example, try not to cleanse left if you feel another tower will spawn naturally soon or you know FMA is going to happen soon. Wait out the tower spawn and cleanse left after, otherwise you cleanse left just to have it spawn again right after. Let me know if you need any advice, 60% left is already a huge portion of the bar down. Keep trying and you got this :)

@@ChordVoicings Great work, I thought about trying easy but I think I'll just wait for enough powercreep to be able to solo normal. Lotus remaster and extreme mode is coming in ~7 months which is supposedly in between nkalos and nkaling, so I will try to solo that as soon as possible, then nkaling after that.
