    Sorry to ask this question here. I'm just looking for some guidance. Hope you can help. What is the difference between ASCHP and HPCSA? I'm a bit confused about my degree. I thought I did enough research about my degree. It seems that i cannot become a psychologist in the future due to me doing a Ba degree in Psychology. I think I should have went the Bsc route. What do you think?

    Here’s a few extra Questions I have for you guys…🍀🌻 1.) How do you define mental health? (how you define mental health? What are your misconceptions? What’s your understanding?) 2.) What is your opinion on medication? (do you see it as helpful or harmful? Do you believe in medication or natural remedies?) 3.) What are your views on therapy? (do you think therapy is a waste of time, if you were to attend therapy, would you prefer one-on-one sessions, group therapy, art therapy? Music therapy?) 4.) What are your views on addiction? (do you empathize with addicts or judge addicts? Have you experienced addiction or know of someone close to you who is/was an addict?) At Fact 4, I said 150 mph = 141 402 kmph. This is obviously wrong, I meant to say 150 mph = 141. 402 kmph (one hundred & forty one point four zero two kmph). Sorry about that, guys!

  • @agentleprocess

    I am aware I forgot to include Fact 7. In case you're curious about what Fact 7 was; FACT 7: Women blink 19 times in a minute and men only blink 11 times a minute. So why is this exactly? There are 2 explanations for this... 1.) women have a tendency to focus on things longer than men do. And biologically if you focus your eyes on something for a long period of time you tend to have to blink more since your eyes can get drier quicker. 2.) women have smaller tear ducts than men, which means when men blink, they blink stronger so they don’t necessarily need to blink as much. Another interesting little fact, older women actually blink more than younger women (because their eyes get drier quicker!) As always, remember to Give Love, See Beauty & Find Value in everything you do! I appreciate every single one of you… m u c h l o v e 💚

    Hey...so if l have money after doing my honours l can add the program which qualifies me as a registered at an agredited institution?? Or

    • @agentleprocess
      @agentleprocess 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi 🍀 I'm assuming the program you're referring to is the BPsych equivalent program at an accredited institution? If so then; If you have the funds to complete the BPsych equivalent program, you first need to write and pass the National Board exam. Only after you've passed, then naturally your next step would be to register with the HPCSA. If you're studying in the line of Psychological counselling, what you would need is to: 1. Complete BA degree & Honors in Psychological Counselling 2. Complete BPsych equivalent at any accredited institution. 3. Write & pass National Board exam 4. Then finally register with HPCSA. Then only once you've done this can you practice as a registered Psychological Counsellor. Disclaimer: This is just for studying in the line of Psychological Counselling. If you're still unsure, please check out the Cognition & Co. website for more info. Here's a link: cognitionandco.co.za/hpcsa/ I hope this helped! Good luck with your journey! 💚

Here's the link: facebook.com/CognitionAndCo/ And message them, try and get in touch with Dylan Benyon, he's a Student Counselling Psychologist. He knows a lot more than I do and helped me out and I'm sure he can help you too. I can't tell you exactly what to do since it is your journey, but I do hope everything works out for you! 💚

    Recently discovered my passion in wanting to become a psychologist. I firstly wanted to be a police officer then later on in the year's firefighter. I got into the idea of psychology by being influenced by a friend of mine who had this interest in this particular field. Me being easily influenced by society, I was taken by the psychology field. That soon ran out and I fell into the field of social work. For a whole year I did many research on anything to do with social work. My interest shifted back to psychology after rediscovering my passion through random TH-cam vids, Facebook pages and so forth.
