10 Years of Tumie Nthutang
10 years ago,I picked up my tiny cybershot camera and took a leap into the world of content creation with nothing but that tiny camera and my love for creating and sharing certain aspects of my style, travel and life.
Along the journey I made friends and colleagues in the space, I met & worked with designers, makeup artists and a salon that would make part of my glam squad, local & international brands that trusted me with their products & services with my collaborations being the first of their kind in the context of Botswana, this would later have me pivoting into the world of events, agency & consultancy work, leading up to the “current” Tumie.
So much has happened in the 10 years, I have sat at tables I dreamt of, I have traveled, I have laughed, loved, cried and most importantly I was present, 10 toes-in and doing it my way.
There’s so much I could say about this journey, but for now, to commemorate this, I have shared put together this documentary video to take you on this journey & reflect.

I have watched the entire series, from beginning to the end at different times ofcos, because it is lenghthy but mam, I needed to watch. Weirdly I started it in the middle then watched from beginning. haha!! They is a lot to learn from you, how meticulous you are, dedicated, creating when they is no road path to follow. What happened in 2020 goes on to show that even in the dark times they is still something to do, You birthed your series in 2020 and now you run with it, you branched into youtube all of this is important and worthwhile. I will always remember do something no matter how tiny it is to get myself from point A to B . This was for you however it is for us too. Inspires, encouraged, challenged.
