i am only a self taught guitarist and not really well versed in music theory or reading notes, How the hell do you count and stay in time during the second part?
Ngl, it's really hard but I listened to it and played it so much that it became muscle memory. Playing to it with the metronome also helped a lot!

It’s the Roland TD-1DMK. It’s super responsive and great for practice. I highly reccomend if normal drums are too loud!
