Some packets are more generous to them than others too. I like when they give incentive to pick them over others.

@@Virtual_Geist By classic I'm referring to the monochromatic style moreso than age. Like if a person of passing familiarity saw it they might not be able to tell the difference between an OG, 20 and X. I'm also def more on the Tama side of things so my perspective is unavoidably going to skew that way some. During editing I had to correct some inaccuracies, one being the clock pause trick NOT working on the DM20 😅 I felt like the level ups having specific stat bonuses was a little more crunchy on the DMX as well as getting statistically stronger mons was easier (no jogress necessary) which is why I chose to go that way with it, but I was keeping it towards the casual vs comprehensive side as I think anyone needing to know this basic info is probably getting more of the solo experience. That said, a comprehensive guide would def have more info (feel free to link any of your relevant vids!). I'm trying fit these into the short and sweet category as some of my blood bowl vids have been up to an hour of edited content and it just takes forever to get one out. I def appreciate the feedback, especially since you've been on the vpet content grind for longer. I've got a Tama ocean vid in the works that's gonna get crunchy and technical as hell 🎃

@@N3rdNetwork yeah I know keeping it casual can get hard with digimon as there gimmicks kinda just keep growing within the device! Also that's awesome to hear i haven't been able to try a ocean out in the world of Tamagotchi!

@@Virtual_Geist Dude, it feels so rewarding but it's a mess to get through. That child stage is the single most brutal vpet experience I've never had.

@@N3rdNetwork in my personal experience my most brutal experience has to be digimon pendulum X whoever gave a vpet the power of its own life was a monster.

@@Virtual_Geist I haven't looked into those yet as the price tag was such that I could get multiple other pets but that sounds fun in that masochistic sort of way. Like I enjoy the uni but I left it alone for 24 hours thinking I paused it and there were no consequences because I gave it dlc food to turn into the thing I want. That's a far cry from some of the other pets that really make you earn it.

@@SomeRandomKydd Blood Bowl! Same folks as Warhammer but it's super violent football. It' does end up having a narrative feel with how it plays but things like naming your players and the like are fairly superfluous. There is a lot of lore but it's irreverent and over the top. The main focus are the game mechanics, building your team from various rosters, leveling them up to customize them and in leagues they suffer permanent injuries. I mainly cover tournaments here which you make a roster out of a certain amount of budget and play X number of games with that exact roster. If you have any more questions feel free to ask!

I also ran a 3.5 game forever ago where one of the player characters was an athlete and I'd give the player bonus xp in game for playing blood bowl with it, but any injuries would be carried over too.
