It should be joyful for us to follow God's laws. If it feels like drudgery, there is corruption in the heart. The false church today does not want us to set our minds on the right things of God such as righteousness, obedience, and love for God's laws. Only the devil would tell us that we put to much importance on the things that lead to salvation. In truth, God requires things from us. Jesus himself said that those who preach contrary to his words and teachings will be condemned: Luke 11:32 "The men of Nineveh will stand up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, one greater than Jonah is here."

First, I absolutely believe Jesus is fully God and fully man- some things in life are a "both/and" instead of an "either/or." Second, I think it would be much better for you to find someone you could talk to in your country about these things! According to your profile, you're in Canada.
