I don't usually cave into GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome), but this time the pressure was too much. While I held out until the first batch of Wampler Germanium Tumnus pedals were sold out, I did manage to preorder one from the second (and apparently final) batch. I'm sure I'll love it when it arrives in January 2024. But this high-pressure marketing for limited edition guitars, pedals, and other products is getting to be too much for me. Hopefully, this video will keep you from buying more junk you don't need.

I gave up using guitar tabs back in March (th-cam.com/video/al8A6T-Xevo/w-d-xo.html). Since then I've had to find better ways to train my ears and learn songs. While there are a number of free apps and other resources that help with identifying different intervals and chords, none of these methods felt sustainable.
