4:17 seconds in after watching this 4736 times I get stuck
No it wasn't helpfull,,,, what about the other two input jacks ? forgive me but did I miss something 😢
I have one and think they are really good amps. I am surprised they don't get more attention. I also use mine for home practice and while I can't run it LOUD, with a few pedals I get the sound I want. They are more versatile than the Fender Deluxe Reverb 65. The Fender Deluxe Reverb 65 doesn't have a Master Volume or overdrive channel. If you have another opinion on this please feel free to comment your disagreement.
Pre amp Out /Power Amp in ? No demo of etc loop
fucking baaaaakedd
great ideas...the only confusing part is you associate the string 1-6 from low E strg....When the standard WAY for all is 1-6 from high E strg
Just bought one of reverb for £410. I also ordered a Eric Johnson strat. Can't wait
good job but I wish you would show how to do the walk up instead of just mentioning it
Bar chord ya mean
Best amps and I've owned multiple not too heavy
I don’t think I got my footswitch😢. What do I do?
cool.God bless.
The only Fender amp models that I had ever bcught NEW like a 1977 Princeton Amp with 2 10" speakers and two Super Champ XD's with one 10" speaker they all suffered from the crapy quality stock speakers that sucked if you cranked up the amp. The amps are good, but the speakers truly sucked. If you want your amp to sound like 10 times better then check this out : The X2 is about the same amp as the Super Champ XD, but with the added USB option so you can actually downloand and store other voicings of one's choice off the web from Fender. One problem withe XD and the X2 is that the stock speakers only sound decent at low volumes to to being very cheap wimpy speakers. I finally found out that better quality 10" speakers can indeed make this amp actually sound SUPER at not only high volume, but all across the sound spectrum. Now at a nominal cost my 2 Fender Super Champ XD's sound like $1000 amps. I have 2 Super Champ XD amps. Great amps except for the wimpy 10" speaker that they come with so that Fender can cut costs, but at the expense of not producing a truly quality product. I also had picked up a used Fender Bassman 25 amp for $60 some time back. So the speaker in that Fender Bassman 25 amp had great lows and highs. So I removed it and replaced the Fender Super Champ XD speaker with the Fender Bassman 25 amps speaker which has a much larger magnet. It made a world of difference and now the amp is truly SUPER even when dimed. Next I will replace my other Super Champ XD with a Hartke Aluminum Cone 10" speaker from a Hartke 210 cab I have. Will move the other 10" in the cab to the Fender Bassman 25 Amp. The Hartke speakers turned out to be 16 ohm each. I had read that using a 16 ohm speaker instead of the 8 ohm ones would make the amp run cooler, but that the speaker would have less volume by about 3db. WRONG !!!. It acutally produces more volume than the identcal amp with the 8 ohm speaker installed. If you want a great amp upgrade your Super Champs speaker. You won't regret it.
Which effect do you play with? Please❤
Skynyrd is tricky because of the 3 guitar attack they have. If you are a solo guitarist in a band and you are doing a Skynyrd cover it can be tough to try to make the guitar parts sound right with just one guitarist. You kind of have to pick and choose on what riffs you are going to play at certain parts to make it sound right
your very good you should have a lot more thumbs up
Is this meant to be a comedy?
thanks
A little less talking and alot more action.....We would rather hear the amp than you rambling.....
Outstanding....thanks
Anyone can play this if you put everything you have in it. It may take a month of playing the same thing every day 3-4 hours. You will play this if you do it and dont give up
Update I installed the Fromel kit and new JJ tubes power and Pre Amp tubes and new tube sockets and I installed Tone Tubby Red speaker and a Eminence T Rex speaker now it sounds 💯 percent better Thanks for the info my Amp Rocks now it sounds like a custom shop Amp now Great video 😎🎸🤟🎵🎶
Thanks
I bought a head unit used on eBay and I don't remember how much I paid for it but I know it was a damn good price. I subsequently ordered a Mustang 3 cabinet if someone had stripped out the electronics modified it and mounted Electro-Voice 12 XL I think it is oh my goodness what a monster I've created. Makes for a really slick looking mini stack and very capable of barroom gigs. Unfortunately chemotherapy has created a condition in my hands called neuropathy which limits by ability to play not that I was ever Stevie Ray Vaughan to begin with but I can barely play it all these days. I have all the kit I could ever want it this point except my hands no longer will cooperate. So keep on picking you never know when someday you won't be able to. Look what they claim happened to Keith Emerson.
I really wish you would do some more lessons. Your lessons are so good and much better than most people's lessons. You're straight to the point with your lessons. I hope that everything is going well for you. Thanks for all your great lessons. Again, I really hope you make more lesson. Peace.. Joe
Had one and toured with it. Wompler compressor and fulldrive 2 was my only gain or boost pedals this amp definitely can handle some more distorted sounds but i prefer boost and screamers for this one. Love that thing currently doing more modeling for ease of recording but this amp and a AC30 and i would never want another amp i miss it
Thank you for the demo. I am new to this amp and your ideas were helpful.
thank you so much for your demo!! We are currently looking for a new amp and this really helped!!
Looks more like a Blues DeVille?
Excellent…Thanks…Cheers Bob 😊😊😊
Can you say Um a few times more,
I have that amp too and i love it. Yes it's too loud for home, but still i use it because i like no other one less loud than this one. I had it already for repair twice. The knobs start to scratch over time and other components inside had to be replaced. I spent at least as much as the new one have cost, but still i wont give up on it. It's just too good. Another problem was the input jack that goes in on top. If you step on the cable you will damage the jack because too much force is applied to the jack input. Now i'm using a 90degree angled plug in order to reduce the force.
I run a JHS Little Black Amp Box through the effects loop. It's a passive volume control so you can crank up the amp, turn down the Little Black Box and enjoy the loud amp at bedroom levels. Thanks to that I now get to play this beauty more often at home.
@@noeffnwaypal That was an excellent recommendation. Thanks a lot.
@@noeffnwaypal I use a Lion Tamer in the effects loop works perfect for home and band rehearsal , fantastic sounding amp both clean and drive channel for me
Wrong. terrible attempt

Good lesson, nice video quality with close up action. Thank you!
love my Blues Deluxe, got it new when it first came out
Hey dude you are are an excellent teacher keep posting videos.
I love this guy! he's a lovely bloke that doesn't SHOW OFF his latest tapping lick every 5 seconds.
the most pleasant demo ive ever watched. no showing off, just basic solid playing which is how it should be.
Awesome 😊
If you're in a small room. Put the master all the way up and control the volume through the guitar ;)
Good video.
loved the playing!
I have one I purchased from my late stepfathers estate. He used it for pedal steel and loved it.I love it too but I keep it mostly in mothballs until I learn to play well enough to be worth the wear on the tubes as I assume replacement tubes still are becoming rare?
Great review. This just may become my stage amp!
Thanks dude, very good tutorial, no bullshit and straight to the point. Keep up the good work mate
I want this for practice at home, why not enjoy the journey of learning. is there anyone with this amp being used as a practice amp ?
you can use any amp you want at home for practice. i know people who use marshall stacks just to play at home. why not use and sound like the pros at home?
That is horrible that is completely messed up in all levels I know six-year-olds and seven-year-olds could play better than that why are you are you even on TH-cam with that crap it doesn’t even sound like the song not even remotely close. What are you a child
That is so terrible stop it you’re you’re embarrassing yourself. I don’t wanna brag but God damn I could play better than that when I was seven years old. I think anybody can play better than that when they were seven
You are a great player bro. The bends and pinch harmonics as well as the tempo y todo is awesome. But cmon bro. All due respect. That intro only sounds right on a chunky Gibson directly into a peavey mace
