You didn't mention the idea behind the double-decker Moon Pie, which began when the original Moon Pie was too light for vending machines which were beginning to be popular in the industrial Northern States. By adding another gram cracker in the pie's layers, it added 3 ounces I'm told to the weight of the pie, and it worked flawlessly in the new vending machines. Prices of the double-decker was 10 cents, rather than 5 cents for regular Moon Pies, but customers continued to buy double-deckers anyway. 50% of the bakery's production was soon double-deckers.

I was introduced to Moon Pies in around spring 1997 when I was in Fort Sam Houston/San Antonio, Texas.

As a foreigner I was not aware of the relationship between these 2 items, however I can relate, since we have a combination which is very popular among construction workers. Fanta & Gansito. The former needs no introduction, but the latter is a small chocolate cake filled with cream and strawberry jelly. A cheap and quick fix for hipoglucemy after a hefty day's work. This video often pictures Whoopie Pies rather than moon pies. It also talks about them like a lunch food, not a sugary dessert. I like the things, but the narrative here is weirdly off.

I could see RC make a huge comeback soon. And it's quite simple. Take a look at prices. RC is significantly cheaper and tastes so much better than any of the off brands or store brands. So price is going to be so much different, we could see their sales explode as people are looking to save money now.

I will always take Rc Cola over Coke and Pepsi every day.

Toms are crap shoes. They won't stand by their product. I bought my wife two pair and they both fell apart and she barely wore them. We wrote customer service, and they refused to replace or fix them. Never again.
