Super. Intermountain Railway Company is just down the street from me, and that F-7B is probably worth more than the rest of your box of trains. However, all the rolling stock, especially the passenger cars, would be more than welcome on my railroad, as I have both a Marklin Relex coupler (Crane car) to Kadee knuckle coupler conversion car and an X2f hornhook coupler to Kadee knuckle coupler conversion car, and operate with seven different coupler styles, so I can operate any used HO train car on my pike. (Mantua loop, Kadee Knuckle, X2f hornhook, Marklin Relex, Proto 2000 universal, Link and Pin, and Walthers cast metal dummy couplers.) It is nice to be able to operate a used train car on my railroad without having to do surgery on it first, and it makes for some interesting operation. I pick that Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy/Q/Burlington Route Chinese Red Bachmann EMD GP-40 # 164 with the metal chassis and eight wheel drive, as it would fit right in on my railroad, because I have four of these almost fifty year old locomotives in operation, all bought new by me while earning $1.85 an hour working a summer job as a phone operator. (Almost three days work for each locomotive. 3 CB&Q and 1 Burlington Northern unit.) They are higher maintenance than a typical Athearn Bluebox, but operate great inside or outside, and they have a nice patina on the paint job now from all the years of use that makes them look very realistic. They also used this chassis in the Gem Brass GP-40. That Athearn Southern Pacific Alco PA-1 is also pretty nice. Hello from the Tracy Mountain Railway in Colorado. 💙 T.E.N.

Super. A number of the locomotives you have acquired have already proven themselves for over 40 years on my model railroad. I love the Athearn Bluebox locomotives, especially the Superpower EMD F-7 A and B units, and I still operate with nine Superpowered (5 F-7As and 4 F-7Bs) locomotives and four (1 F-7A and 3 F-7Bs) dummies. I spent a little over $25.00 for my first two Superpower F units. The old school Atlas frame has the same motor as the Atlas turntable, and I actually paid $10.00 awhile back for a frame with a motor, just like yours, to add power to my turntable. The broken Atlas Santa Fe SD-24, the Mantua/Tyco 0-4-0 steam switcher with tender, the Model Power/RSO New Haven Alco RS-11, and the Mantua/Tyco Plymouth CR-4 center cab diesel hydraulic "shunter" would be more than welcome on my railroad. Three CR-4s, one bought for $3.95 brand new (1967, my first loco) with a plastic clamshell case, a used one I paid $15.00 for, just to save it from a kid, and one brand new old stock Mantua/Tyco CR-4 I found in its original box at a hobby shop (Mizell's Trains) about two decades ago, but opened and missing the front handrail, all operate on my railroad. The newcomer was marked at $35.00, and I talked them down to $30.00. That is 10 times what I paid for the first one, but they run great and take care of my trolley line freight. (4 3/4 inch radius curves) One Mantua/Tyco 0-4-0 steam switcher ($19.95 new) survives at my sugar beet mill, one MP/RSO RS-11 ($18.97 new, from Woolworths) operates the yard, and two Atlas SD-24s ($25.99 each new, Caboose Hobbies) take care of the freight. These locomotives and other survivors in my fleet (64 old school, 27 new school steam, diesel, and electric locos) run great inside or outside, operate smoothly, and have a nice patina on the old paint job now that makes them look very realistic. That is a semi trailer piggy back car put the 5th wheels on it and you can put semi trailers on it for piggyback service the long flat car that's the kind I'm looking for.

I can't say about all the engines but once like the athrians you can put them on the track and run them without the body to see just what's going on but if it looks like it ain't going to run and just sit there get it off the track before it overheats and burned out the motor individually check the wheel sets for shorts Meaning touch your power wire to one side and the ground wire to the other side of the wheels if nothing happens that's good if you see Sparks that's bad

The metal wheels on your passenger cars are for right and left the plastic ones are insulators to prevent shorting out.....

Old blue box axle sets were known for cracking. They could be brand new, and still crack. Bad plastic during that time. Even early Proto 2000 had the same issue. The fact the gears may be cracked, will also account for the wheels spreading out of gage, causing it to derail.

The Blue and Yellow Santa Fe is a F$% The Amtrak is an FP45 I have both but my FP 45 is also Santa Fe.

The Santa Fe 979, is an older 70's Atlas Roco SD24. Made around 1978 or 79.

The Southern Pacific is mis packaged. It's actually an Athearn Blue Box GP35.

Your Walthers locomotive is a GP9 low hood. Rounded roof cabs are always earlier EMD's, like GP7, GP9 GP20 and SD9, or SD24.

It simply means the locomotive will not interfere with radio or television transmissions. Tempo is the seller of your locomotive. They were also sold under AHM and Model Power to name a few. Roundhouse started in 1938. It is MICHIGAN CENTRAL, not general. The Inter Mountain B unit is Expensive.. Do NOT open it if it runs. And if it does not run the inside to too involved for the average MRR to repair it. PS. How old are you?
