Yamaha’s onboard sound editing features are limited than what is available on korg. But we can edit sounds easily on yamaha and sometimes it comes out better than what we get on korg. It depends on how we edit those. You can also make new high quality sounds with samples on Yamaha.

Try adjusting vibrato knob

I dont have a pa50 now. I dont remember what were the options it has. Vbrato can be achieved using the vibrato knob or lfo or some FX. So it depends on how it was applied. Check if there are any effects with vibrato applied to it

Those are made with custom samples. Not the onboard ones. PA5x and SX920 are two different classes. So you cannot compare both. It depends on your requirements. But if budget is a constraint, sx920 is a better option

There should be some software tools which converts mp3/wav to midi. But the output quality may not be good. Once it is a midi, you can convert it to a style using the yamaha midi to style converter software

You can save the edited user voice as a sound to the user sound bank and then use that in the track.

@ArrangerTutorials no, it doesn't work. The track sound reverts to the original ROM sound. It just doesn't make sense but also doesn't make sense to export it to a sound pack and the import it. Am I missing something? And yes I do save the state into a registration bank when changing sounds of a track but only between ROM sounds. It doesn't work for user stored edits of sound. The style reverts to the ROM or expansion pack sounds

I tried with a user sound and it got reset to the factory sound later. Need to check what is causing it. Importing it into an expansion pack should work because the pack will have a bank change number and the sounds will have program change numbers for each. But i will keep checking for a solution and update you here when i find aomething

What is the error? Are the tracks as per the specifications?

When you record a style, you would record only one chord in a track for variations, fills and break. It can be any chord. But you need to set that chord and key in the settings. After saving the style, you can play it in any key and chord.
