Did you have to use different length cables when you put risers on
Not for the few inches I went no.
When you stop do you have to squeeze the trailer control switch as you step on the brakes?
My running light on the right side won't stay on but the left will. However both blinkers still work. Any idea what the issue is?

Thank you 😊 Tell me please, how did you install the right and left remote control with buttons? In their original configuration (with the original steering wheel), these consoles have protrusions for holes in the steering wheel. Have you removed them?
@@Ginger_cigar It was so long ago I can't remember but if they did have little pins to lock into the bars I must have cut them off. New bars don't come with holes and I didn't drill any.

Thanks. You can actually slide that part up under the seat pretty far. Possibly to access the bolts. Haven't tried it my self, only got in under the seat a few inches.

I just got a 2022 17 MKE. Looks like good solo trailer. Do you still like the 17MKE and how is it holding up, truthfully. Would you recommend?

How is the murphy bed down with the slide in?
I love pillow top grips!!.....the stock grips are too Twitchy off-road, They don't disperse your hand/finger Weight properly, and have Definitely caused me to crash many times in Tighter terrain. Maybe because I have longer hands, but Pillows are great.

Thunderstorm would not be an inconvenience to me, in fact, I dream about it. I love the rain and thunder, more so in a travel trailer.

What did you connect the red wire to
I didn't hook that up. That's the day time running light, the bar that goes across the bottom of the light. Any switched power source would of worked though I think. 🤔
If you had washers and longer bolts could the ignition fit in the original location but on the risers? Great video I really like the setup, I'm trying to figure how to keep the ignition in the stock location. Thanks!
I can't say for sure as it was a long time ago when I did that sorry. A longer bolt down threw the bracket and into the riser/clamp sounds plausible though.

Did you only use one bolt instead of two for triple clamp?
No. 2 bolts in each bar clamp
@@duceswild2066 oh ok i see the lower bolt now. So you only slid one bolt through the ignition casing and one bolt underneath just to hold the triple clamp

It's the e2 hitch. If you watch the beginning of my de winterize video you can see it for a couple mins.

You removed a functional metal case saver. Not very smart.
Actually the OEM curved metal case saver is still in place. All I did was replace the plastic cover with a carbon fiber one. I'd be happy to show you.

I love this xls 17 mke. I love you colors. I don't like the new interior colors at all, and the newer models have the Murphy bed that is ugly and and annoyance. Why would 2 people need 2 couches! I would buy one in a second if they looked like yours.

We just bought a 2022 17MKE and I don’t think our lights in the cup holders are anywhere near as bright as your cup holders - wow!
Blinding lol. I plan to use a film like a window tint type of stuff to dim them down nicely rather then just tape over them lol. I can't remember if it was this video I did where I taped them over or another one.
I have a Toyota Tundra 5.7L engine similar to you’re Ram, I’m sure we could tow a lot bigger TT but why? Like its the perfect size. Very comfortable.. 👍

Dry is 5000lbs and max is 6500lbs?? I think. Tongue is around 500lbs. Current specs should be on their website.
