The contact device thing - don't you have to have a mission going before you craft a new one to get access to 2 missions?

The way you highlighted it at the pod... do that, and send it.

You could have put the mounts in orbit. You don’t put them in the OES pod, you just bring them next to it, highlight them to be returned and click the return button. You were toggling the zebra on and off to be returned but didn’t click return. Easiest way to return them would have been to get them all to follow you then select and return them all in one go.

They may have unbalanced the game, but they did it in a way that you have to put in the time and dedication to earn. Its like getting the infinite rocket launcher or minigun when playing new game+ in Resident Evil. The carbine is level appropriate.

If you work 'backwards' when wiring up it looks better. So, connect TO an existing electricity puck instead of FROM where you want neater connections. Takes a little practice to see how it works, but you get great connections instead of the weird bends. Works for water too.

The enzyme fight is also good for animal xp (and yours if you are not already levelled out.). I've seen someone build a 'barn' above the geyser and put all their animals in it before the fight started. Can't remember if they did anything else, but the shared xp was insane!

The big tank doesn't go into the "active" fuel slot in generators anymore. But put a regular can there, and the tank in the upper inventory slot. As long as it keeps running, it'll draw from tank when can is empty. Does that until restart, then you'll have to switch a can back to the active slot to start it back up. So, if running will pull from inventory slots.

Confused why you go and sleep in the cold cave instead of putting your bed roll in front of the fire? With the heater on you wouldn't even need to switch on the fireplace.

Put some more Metal Rain Reservoirs (2,3). You can contain the Large Water Tank which can be connected to the reservoir. Water Barrels require a Water Pump Connection. You can also check the cave for any water and use it for water pump.

The easiest way to cheese the hut repair is to repair a building piece, then pick it up - can't get broken again.

Thx for videos. Very nice story and montage. Some tips: craft ropes from leather and then brake them to get fiber; better not to drink unfiltered water from water collector. Use campfire to get filtered water (place ice and water skin); clean roofs from the snow using shovel; some meat is better to cook on fire, but some better to cook using drying rack.

You would be so much better off if you used bone arrows. Another thing, when you are low on oxygen, consume some of the oxcite and it will refill your o² bar, then add it to your suit. That will add time before you have to refill it.

Not going to lie, I was hoping you would pick G11 or F11. There is access to the desert and wood at D10, but it is a long haul. I only say this because when you did this in the past you practically chose the same spot ( I10 vs J10). With that said thank you for the new series, I really appreciate it.

You'll probably want running water for both pure water and oxygen production later in the game (as well as for any animals). Apparently there is water in cave 518 (bottom left of L9) which is only a short way from your J10 base. Not sure if this would breach the rules you've set for yourself as you'd still be living in the arctic biome.

You could make smaller little outposts at the openings to the other biomes as save/storage spots that you can use while getting materials.

You can use Dirt Foundations for Snow Build-ups. You can throw the water skin and Ice into the fireplace to get purified water.
