Can you empty approx 10 litres of tank water in a large bucket and assimilate ( take the discus out from the shipping packages ) the fishes in the bucket for a sufficient amount of time with airstone and some Mythaline blue before transferring in the main tank?

I have heard that when you are acclimating new discus fishes you should keep them in a dark environment as it helps them reduce stress is this true just asking since you have your fish lights on

As soon as u opened the bag once the air hits the water.the ammonia starts to rise u should just temp acclimate.dump fish into net and then add right away to tank.ive got discus from Myrtle beach discus.that is there preferred method of acclimation.and mine as well.

Please upload a video of how to do AUTOMATED SMALL WATER CHANGES ( 15 - 20 GALLONS ) throughout the day ( 4 to 5 times ) in a 125 gallon discus tank with RO water specially from SUMP CHAMBER ( return chamber ) or directly from the tank. Discus tank water changes is a hassle and tedious work which has to done systematically..so a AUTOMATED or automatic process or procedure ( water change ) is a relief in the hobby and for the hobbits as discus needs pristine water quality and parameters.

It’s really hard to breed/take care of gouldian finch. Just last week I lost 7 gouldian and 1 own finch. They are very expensive too. Sometimes I think of quitting breeding the gouldian finches.

Hi! my discus pair have exactly the same issue after breeding, the babies where just too many and my theory is that this caused them to loose their slime coat, looking pretty much like yours. Have you find a solution? currently my couple of discus are back in my main aquarium with out concern other than their skin, they eat and swim normally. Thanks!

Thank you for sharing your experience. My 3 daughters and I have learned a lot from your video. My 10y has come in with a finch egg that we have put in the incubator. Although raising a finch is definitely going to be a challenge. The egg was discarded and most likely not produce a chick, we are still educating ourselves on how to raise suck a tiny chick!! We deeply thank you and appreciate your video.
