This is the fun opening train scene from The Music Man. It is a community theatre production.
man the crowd is SO DEAD this was a great and hilarious performance!!
I first saw this sort of scene in 1975. Is it still relevant today??

It was in the original script. Many times the movie version either changes things, eliminate things or add things. In this case, the original theatre version contains more rhythmic lines as compare to the movie version.

Jonathan Croley omg this was six years ago 😢 by now I’ve actually had the opportunity of doing this show twice, once as a wah tan yee girl (6 years ago) and another as a pickalittle lady (3 years ago) I absolutely love music man. I don’t even remember commenting this but it brought back great memories.

They did practice, didn't they? Between the snare drum tempo drifting, and the sloppy panning and zooming of the single camera, this deseveres some kind of anti-award.
Im doing this musical in my school, Im in this scene and its amazing and so much fun.

my school did this play last year and i was in the train scene and it was good but it was nothing compare to this one
