Jakarta’s First Five-Star Hotel | Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta | Salon Suite
Join us as we review our stay at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta, a hotel with a rich history but some mixed experiences. While the Salon Suite was spacious and well-designed, the room felt a bit dated, and the service didn’t quite meet five-star standards. Despite the lack of professionalism in some areas, the hotel's breakfast buffet was truly impressive, offering a wide range of international and local dishes that stood out as a highlight of our stay.

Thanks! The dinner buffet and breakfast buffet are complimentary during our stay, while the a la carte main course cost around USD15 to 25.

For the same price per night in the US, you can get a one bedroom hotel room with a bed, iron, ironing board, hangers, coffee maker, TV, shower, toilet, sink, towels, mini fridge, lock box, cabinet drawers, aircon and sometimes, a welcome chocolate chip cookie per guest. Parking may cost extra.

I think this is the only country where I may be able to afford a 5 star hotel for a day or two. Im planning to travel in maybe 6 months so all these hotel videos are good for me. Great shots.
