Fantastic capture. 👍🏻❤
Great video. Good to see the city getting some investment.
Amazing presentation Davy, just watched it on the big screen. Top work! 🙌
@@jasondodd6407 Thanks Jason!
The town centre is a shitholeneeds shopping and a overhaul of shopfronts
Game changer,as the north of the river will be hub of activity.Credit to the council.
What, are they getting rid of all the Mackem's 😂🤣😂
@@truthgiver8286 In English please?
@@droneshotsdaily Seems you don't understand English.
@@truthgiver8286 Ah, my apologies, the rogue comma was invisible. Far too many Mackems to get rid of!

I’m so passionate about these positive changes to my city! I could queef. Thanks for the amazing footage
@@Binzlebabble That’s a lovely comment. I’m extremely positive about all the changes and yes, they take time, but things are moving in the right direction 👌
Will it b a one level or two level bridge I wonder 🤔? 😂
@@davidgraham6781 One I hope!
@@droneshotsdaily Aye. The reason I thought two is that I remember seeing a advertising picture 🖼️ of the new look bridge a few months ago and it looked like a two level type bridge. Mind u it depends how much it might cost eh. 😆 😂 We will find out by the end 🔚 of next year.
@@davidgraham6781 In the region of £25m and forms an integral part of the Riverside Sunderland Project.
@@droneshotsdaily Aye...Oh and I wonder 🤔 what the new bridge will be called after it gets completed in late 2025? 🤔 Stadium 🏟️ bridge perhaps? Ah well. 😆
@@davidgraham6781 Hmmmmmm I’d have to have a think!
Great to see Sunderland moving forward. About time! Great footage ... thanks
It will hopefully look superb when it gets completed in late 2025. 🤔
you live in barnard castle , 37 miles from Sland, yr council tax you pay goes here, not to B-Castle,, there fleecing you all,, 😂😂😂😂
@@Hex___666 ooooh no it does not!!!
Sunderland finally receiving proper investment, investment that it should have had decades ago and people are upcasting it. Unreal. Lots of bitter people about it seems.
Ploughing all this money into Sunderland and Washington just gets forgotten about
I have drove over that bridge many times and i have not noticed it at all
@@Manofthetowers Recent and ongoing 👍
Fantastic shots. Thanks for posting👍
@@paulherron6822 Exciting times!
The whole city of Sunderland has problems, the main one at the moment is you can't go any where in the city without road works the utilities have made this city into a patchwork quilt no sooner has a road or footpath been repaired and another comes along digs a good part of it up again. Over a period of time the poor repairs start to show. Then we get to uneven footpaths Fawcett Street is a good example sandstone slabs should not be the first choose for a busy street especially when delivery van's and maintenance vehicles put wheel on the paving. This problem of uneven flags and broken one's is been city wide for years.
Think we need to consider painting the railway bridge maybe red so it's not subsumed by the shadow of Wearmouth bridge. We will have 3 bridges soon and the whole country will recognise our city by this vista. Let's make it as stunning as it can be!
@@johnmurray5573 That’s a great shout👍
Sunderland already has more than 3 bridges. Northern spire Queen alex Railway bridge Wearmouth bridge Soon the new foot bridge over to sheepfolds. Fatfield viaduct bridge
What a revelation
Most of the working class will not be able too afford too go there. Labour council and associates are running the town centre economy like a London Borough. Where's the profit going, it's not for benifit of the Sunderland rate payers.
But shops are closing in droves blanford street is all but shut gregs everywhere wast of money spent on new station the town used to be good but its crap now but still think its one of the better citys to live in
Yes just emphasise the negative.
@@ivanwhisker6932 blandford streets never had such well stocked shops, its a golden age of shabby chic

Looking great and we’re all looking forward to turning up next weekend! And it’s Haway with an ‘a’!
I am proud of my city!! This is just the beginning. Just wait till the new footbridge, culture house, eye hospital, sheepfolds development, film studios and business district offices….alongside luxury and affordable green housing. This is a city that will be firmly put back on the map
@@Binzlebabble Great comment and I’m in the same camp. I constantly try to promote our city. Let the haters hate and look forward…
@@droneshotsdaily they’ll all be flocking up here soon from the south! Just watch x
Great advert but here are a few questions….The loss of the National Glass Centre in 2026 will be a tragedy for Wearside yet Sunderland University will still not answer important questions about why they let it fall into disrepair in the first place. Who is building the new luxury homes, how many and where? Is the NGC land scheduled for a housing development? Somebody has to start telling the truth around here. Great video by the way.
@@technologytom Agreed, the NGC is a great addition and historic reflection on the city’s glass heritage. The university seem more focussed on their southern endeavours than looking for solutions to a problem that [in my] opinion could be found. While the building may need repairs, the costings are dubious and seem to be more in line with ‘writing off’ than repairing. Time will tell, but the Culture House is merely a token gesture that will never be suffice or even come to fruition.
Yes let's see what it like in say 10 year's time unrecognisable for the better maybe

Nice One - what editor do you use
I tend to use either DaVinci Resolve or Vegas Pro. Vegas Pro is less heavy on the processor and you can achieve similar results👌
A close up view of the large glass pane which has slipped out of position would be interesting. Tom
Brilliant video. Loved it. Can you please please please do another one asap to show the recently added steelwork which was fitted without anyone realising - I think it was an attempt to rectify the structural engineering mistake made by UoS in removing the original Brise Soleil structure and weakening the frontage as a result. Please comment. Tom

The UK definitely has some of the best castles in the world. I’ve noticed that most of the drone flyers seem to come from there. I fly the air 2S. Unfortunately, we don’t have many castles to fly around in the US. I liked and subscribed. Have a great day. Stay connected. 👍
