    This was great and we do need more of these one-on -ones with our men today. Real life experiences and testimonies to show our young men it’s ok to be transparent & sometimes vulnerable. That’s not a sign of weakness but honestly it’s a sign of strength. Jesus will take our mess and turn them into messages & test and trials to testimonies! Let’s keep looking out for each other & grow in faith to be all we were created to be. Bless you both & please let this continue far & wide, it’s much bigger than you know! Amen ☝🏽🔥👀🙌🏽💯💯💯

I'm sick about hearing about slavery, not because I'm racist ( I'm not ) but because it happened then and tbh it's still happening now to alot of the 3rd world countries so stop being selfish and either fix the problem and stop asking for money to forget about it 😅😅 people are wild

    I fully support reparations for anyone who was a slave or whose parents or grandparents were slaves. They should be paid by anyone who is a slave owner or whose parents or grandparents were slave owners. Also, my family got here about 80 years ago, so I’ll wait for my exemption.

    Those people are all dead. Enough. You have the same abilities as anyone else, stop playing victim, be about your sh!t, you are a strong man who can survive just like every other person. The biggest issue is men not recieving mental healthcare, or being able to express emotions that aren't anger.

      @thebackcommunity 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great point, he really focuses on the mental health and condition that has to change. That’s a huge aspect of healing. That’s the most important ingredient to growth. Thank you for your thoughtful words.

  • @oreillysc1
    @oreillysc1 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I hear this as a topic lately but no one ever wants to discuss. Not even debating for or against reparations but just financially how would that work? Who would pay for it? How much would it cost? Who would receive it? Anyone that is a descendant of a slave? Any black person? What about mixed races? Would it go off percentage of slave descendant? I think if people went through that exercise they would realize it’s beyond not feasible. I don’t support the idea myself. I feel having someone apologize for something they didn’t do to someone who it wasn’t done to serves no purpose. Imagine me asking for, let’s say my grandfather was murdered in LA by black street gang, an apology from the black community. How would that go over?

    • @thebackcommunity
      @thebackcommunity 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      These are really thoughtful questions that deserve exploration. One thing that did stick out to me was that the last part “should I have to apologize for something I didn’t do?” That’s also a great one. What comes to mind for me is “have I benefited from that thing indirectly or directly and maybe that’s part of this thought provoking conversation. But thank you for respectful insight

    That's great for you. Your English leaves alot to be desired. Of course you can make on your own. It's easier with a partner. But that life isn't for everyone. I get it. I got together with my wife and have never been happier since. But we're in actual love, only in it to be with each other. She's my best friend, my partner, my lover, someone that never judges me and we are happy together. You can't fault people for wanting that for their firends too can you? Bottom line, do what makes you happy. If having a string of casual sexual encounters makes you happy than good for you. Personally I need more from life than just getting through it.

    Nah u just woke lol admit it u just can’t get a guy😂 making your life more valuable is making a impact on the world and the only way you can make a impact on the world, that is without a husband and children and grandchildren (to carry your teachings and that part of you that you passes onto them) is to leave a impact on the younger generation who will carry your memory and what you did…….if you ever achieve anything worth being remembered by lol.

    Self love is selfish. You are not yourself. Your thoughts are not you. You are the silent observer of your thoughts. That ongoing narration in your head only pretends to be you, but you are not it. It is an entity you feed, it's your oldest friend. So by habitual thinking you adopted this entity in your head as yourself and then you allow it to control your emotions. That entity in your head is why you feel attachment and take things personally. That entity thinks it can possess things when that is an impossibility. It feeds off your emotions using thoughts and causes suffering. Attachment is suffering. Because all things pass. You have a character innate to your being but that is not self. You develop a sense of self as a way to cope with the world. The self is like an insidious, corrosive shell around the innocence that you always were, but lost sight of. Yourself will never realize god, the source of love, and will never know or understand anything. It will only think it does. The source of love has no object, so unless you love source first, you will never be able to love other people properly without attachment. And as I said, attachment is suffering. The self feeds off suffering. The self is not something to love. The mind is only a tool for you to master, not for it to master you.
