why would anyone want a hand dealt at the end of the turn? that makes no sense.. so how would you get your first hand? some hot game tip. i gave up 30 seconds later. Slay the spire was made PERFECTLY the way that they designed it, you CAN'T improve something that's designed so well, and if it wasn't designed so well, why are people STILL buying and playing it?

Nostalgic! Remember it looking like this in early access. It's definitely come a long way since then.

A clarifying note for viewers re: the difference between Magic Mirrors (blue) and Cloud of Mirage (red): Magic Mirrors literally produce mirror images of the player (that would go to their left whenever the player goes to their right), whereas Cloud of Mirage creates images that do mimic the player's moves, so would go to their right when the player goes to their right. This is a little more obvious when you're playing as a humanoid character that holds.a weapon in one of their hands (right-handed by default, but can change to left-handed). So, for a right-handed player, Cloud of Mirage mimics also have their weapon in their right hand, but Magic Mirror images are left-handed.

It only gets worse!" - I think dramatically running out of the forest and ceremonially jumping into the ocean in protest is a pretty appropriate response; it's too bad the game doesn't actually let you do anything destructive though. This was a good watch. Pretty systematic puzzle-solving and note-taking going on here.

19:42 the de-powered enemy drone eats a space rock coming at your ship - just a neat little seldom-seen interaction

It's interesting seeing how much has changed since 2019 - extra stats now show on the cards, you can see what dreams are available for a monster before fighting it, you can see where offscreen enemies are with a marker - the fundamentals don't seem to have changed but the details definitely got better.

Love the enthusiasm going into the intro of the game!

Hey, do you know of anywhere I can play old Magic the Gathering from before 2013 or something without having to play the new decks and playstiles. I better like the old playstyle :)

For soup, I ended up rebinding: - O for "cobbage" (it's vaguely circular) - N for "nions" - V for "vroccoli" - this frees up R for "Red" peppers

it's really funny hearing Twinge complain about all the information being "harder to parse" than Hexcells' and others, given that Tametsi eventually became the gold standard in presenting information (largely because of Countdown mode)
