Apparently if you remove the electrical cord from your trailer during air brakes test you have to check all your trailer lights again or you lose marks for that
@@foxcrow1765 i worked in team for about 6 months then went solo… back in 2017 thr was alot of demand for truckers so it wasnt hard to find a good job for the right pay..
From what I know you don’t have to be too detailed just as long as your pointing at the objective and checking to see if it’s secure you should be okay
Not to be "nit Picky" the driver did NOT visually check the jaws were locked. Just a tug test is sufficient?. SORRY if im out of line, i just don't want to fail my Pre Trip inspection,, Thank you
@@benktraveldiscover5942 , there's many errors on these video's. But I stopped counting. Every pre-trip method in Alberta is different depending on the school you choose.

Did not check air compressor. And your jaws are not open when you pull the handle. They unlock and your king pin will open the jaw as you pull ahead.
Nice job!
He forgot to check the cup holders were secure, no damage on it.
At 4m04s most truckers never test the side wall of a tire too check the tire pressure with a "hammer"

Why you closed the hood before starting your truck? How would you know you've no sparks, smoke with the engine running ?
