Don't buy into the nonsense the Khoi are separated from the bantu. As a matter of fact in Zulu language there syllables called ngwaqa bathwa which directly translates syllables of Khoi San

Khoi people are not coloureds. The title "other coloureds" by the Apartheid system and made to speak Afrikaans. Not their indigenous languages. That is why khoi and San people who found themselves on the boundaries of RSA can hardly express themselves today, through no fault of their own. That is why khoi and San people who found themselves in countries such as Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and many countries north of RSA the Khoi and San people still speak their languages. The nature of Africans was free movement in Africa. The border that you see today are not the making of Africans. These borders in Africa were decided somewhere in Europe at a place called Berlin. There was no African when that division was done. Coming to what is happening in the present dispensation is that teaching of the language in some school in RSA was started some years ago, when a teacher was imported from Namibia where no major disturbance in their being who they are. The problem we have is that we depend on others on the information we know. Another thing is that actually coloureds had three classifications, they were classified "cape coloureds, coloured and other coloured" go check past classifications if there is any change. The coloured category included some of our relatives in the bantu townships. The joke is that they got into trouble at the height of apartheid when they came to visit relatives on the other side of the township. They did this classification for no reason other than economic reasons. Another thing to strengthen your understanding about the development of some Bantu clans is when do some research on some Xhosa clans such "amaQgunukhwebe" this is a group of many Xhosa clans such as amaGiqwa to mention just one, have a lot of Khoisan mix. Also the Nqgosini and Cete clans are in the Khoisan mix. This is just an indication that Africans were at some stage just one. To people like us is the wish is that the Khoi and San people in the every corner of Africa work as one to develop their language for future generations. This would build on what the ANC government and many other governments across Africa have done to ensure that the Khoisan languages are developed. Here the government cannot lead or do the process for the Khoisan people but only facilitated. Khoisan people should stand up and do it themselves. I have only mentioned some clans that are termed Khoisan among Xhosas. This does not mean Xhosas are the only people with the Khoisan mix. This mix is found in many bantu groups. Even among Xhosas in some clans who are generally not grouped as Khoisan mix. You find a clan that refers to their clan liniage as "abantwana bomthwakazi" those who know understand what I mean.
