Hey what are you using for the center caps ?

Is it creaky or squeaky at all? Does the lid latch securely if you have stuff in the little storage compartment?
About the ebrake wires, they bend like that bc the wires stretch over the years. You can adjust them with the nuts on the wires to tighten up the wires. Unfortunately I have to replace the drivers side ebrake wires because it has stretched so far that I can not tighten it enough for it to be safe.

Nice job! I will be doing my 2000 mk4 gti soon as it has the same issue- a leak on the filter housing. You have a lot of patience bro! Question: did you end up draining the oil each time or were you able to just pull off the housing without draining the oil pan?
i didn’t have to drain the oil! it sits higher than everything filled with oil so just let the car sit for a few minutes after running to let the oil drip to the bottom and then you’re good to go!

Doesn't this give a bit extra stress on your driveshafts ?
actually no, it should relieve stress on the cv joints by decreasing the angle of the connection to the trans and the hub, because the car has been lowered
Hey man super awesome video, looks like your hood doesn’t have that fabric cover inside from what I can see. Think I’m gonna try ripping mine off because my hood won’t latch completely with the spacers but I have literally an identical 12v Jetta as you. Was good to have some reference as I went through it. Appreciate it lots hope to see more vids
