Palkia has been soloed once again, but the less bulky form this time. Previously, Palkia-Origin was also soloed in windy weather but it was a very long RNG grind. In order to add some challenge to the easier version of the boss, I decided to look for the Dragon Tail/Draco Meteor. Dragon Tail would wear down Mega Rayquaza very quickly if the boss doesn't use Draco Meteor enough. Yes, you read that right! We actually do not want the boss to use too little Draco Meteors! This is because the Dialga-Origins can get switched in to catch them and gain a lot of energy to get its Roar of Time ready very fast. If the boss nukes me, I will nuke it back! We still do not want the boss to use too many Draco Meteors to the point where it would use it after all the Dialga-O's already took too much damage from already catching one. This strategy feels surprisingly consistent as long as you do not faint too many of your fillers.

Here is a handcam of me rejoining a raid as fast as I can (6 second rejoins are what you want to go for). Stay tuned for a more in depth guide that I am currently working on. I hope this helps for now. The phone I used is an iPhone 13 Pro Max. Shout out to my gf recording it for me and being funny at the start lol.

@ Party power duos are probably different bc it’s actually optimal to rejoin at the same time so both players have party power active at all times. I also found that it makes it less likely for one players party meter to reset after rejoining. It would be much harder for both players to rejoin fast due to the rejoins needing to be coordinated, but thankfully most the duos aren’t anywhere near as tight as most T5 solos nowadays. I’ll be sure to bring this up in the in-depth version when it comes.

@@countryzbanimations It was still a win. A glitch called Shrodinger’s ending happened (you get a losing screen if you win with exactly zero seconds left, but you still get the encounter and the rewards after clicking on the gym again).

@ It actually has more TDO, but its DPS isn’t fast enough to solo Dialga-O (even in sunny weather) If you check Gamepress’s DPS spreadsheet, you can see that Mega Lucario actually has one of the highest DPS in the game
