Also really looking forward to getting the Nano Pro finally! Question: Is the video cut off? It seems to end kind of abruptly.

I have a problem with bltouch. doing the whole procedure to calibrate the bltouch on my printer, typing the same commands that are present in the video, the nozzle does not lower by the same height set and sometimes it lowers more than it should. How can I solve it?

It worked! It doesn't make sense why removing a connector and put it back on resets it. Can anybody explain. But at the end of the day it works

When the current NC file is imported to GRBL, the report I get is BAD NUMBER FORMAT on every line and the config update fails. Any help?

While you have the support rods disconnected it's a good opportunity to check to see if the vertical 2040 extrusions are at a 90 degree angle to the 2 main rails that run from front to back, I used a machinists square to check mine (only because I happened to have one, a regular square should suffice as well though), rest the square on the main rail and bring it into contact with the vertical rail and check to see if you see any gaps between the vertical rail and the square. If you do then you may need to adjust the support rod so that it either pushes or pulls the vertical rail to whichever direction is needed (gap at the bottom by the square means the vertical rail needs to be pushed back a little so you need to lengthen the support rod a bit, if the gap is near the top of the square then the rod needs to be shortened a little to pull the vertical rail towards the front of the machine, just loosen the nut by the eyelet screws and if you need the rail to tip forward a bit turn the eyelet screw in one or two turns then bolt it back into place and recheck with the square, if you need to to be pushed back a little then unscrew the eyelet screw one or two turns and recheck adjusting as necessary), then repeat the procedure on the other vertical rail, don't forget to re-tighten the nuts on the support rods though.

Ditch the music and add verbal instructions. You should ALSO include written instructions so that when people are trying to assemble your unit they don't have to stop the video 15 times during the assembly process.

I appreciate you making the video. HOWEVER, you need to SLOW DOWN when making the changes in the software. Add audio about the settings you are changing. Also include a written cheat sheet as to what settings need to be changed.

I had 5 3d printers…I gave one of my two Longer 5k Pros away to a kid and told him good luck…it’s free but you have to figure it out. there’s a reason it was wearing a dunce cap…unlike Longer…I had a conscience and could not ask money for it. How can I say such a thing? I still have a Longer 5k Pro I’m constantly struggling with…but I can some times dial it in. It is a major major struggle…I have a beginner printer Flashforge 3 pro that is amazing…you don’t even have to level it…ever. Then I bought a Bamboo…. That changed everything…Longer has an amazing build plate…in my 2x experience…you can get one amazing print out of 2 printers…and they are sooooo slow…14 days for a Mandalorian Helmet. Just get a Bamboo… great printer…although both companies are equal with customer service…wish I had a third thumb for three thumbs down

Just so this might help someone in the future, You need too be careful about the orientation of the plates, because if you use the bottom one on top, some of the screws just wont go in no matter how hard you try, so if u cant get ur screws in, try switching ur plates from top to bottom, or vice versa.

Hi, can 6w longer nano engrave jewelry? And if I want to engrave on whisky glass or glass products, I need to paint it with darker color first? And would it cost permanent coloration on the glass item? Also 6w can engrave on small wooden items?

The extruder collides with the bed during G28 Z offset. The 3D Touch does not engage. I have swapped black and white wires. However same issue.

I have 5 3d printers…Two Longer Lk5 Pros. It’s the only printer in my arsenal that I follow on Twitter? X? TH-cam…Whatever. So I can keep updated on how to fix something 😢 One of my LK’s I put a Dunce cap on it…just like Ironman…it’s best attribute is collecting dust. My other one…I had to jam a paper clip in it to jump wire the PLA breaking sensor…bright side is the Longer printers have improved my IT Tech skills…sad because the print platform is so large…my best print was day one…it’s like watching a funny movie for the first time…you can never experience that first time laugh again…

My z axis motor doesn't work

I am excited for the Longer Nano Pro for multiple reasons. It is going to be my go-to laser for the music and art shows I regularly attend and sell at as I plan on doing more in-person demos and engravings as my other lasers aren't very portable, and certainly not as interesting or fun as the Longer Nano Pro. I am an expert tile engraver and am really looking forward to see how this performs using the Norton White Tile method and am really excited that this beautiful laser is gonna work with Lightburn! April can't get here soon enough!!!

Yesterday I tried to engrave something on a piece of metal and suddenly it stopped. The laser continued its program, only it stopped engraving at all. And today I tried to engrave something but it followed the program but nothing burned. I need help please and thank you.

I've been having trouble trying to update my firmware using cura. I get the error "firmware update failed due to communication error" Yet I have a new usb cable and it pops up on my device manager

Just supported your laser engraver. Looking forward getting my machine. If the machine itself could move it could engrave endless. Maybe its worth a thought of new addon 😊
