Hi gggunit99 there are fluke accessories that provide millivolt (mV) output like the Fluke 80i-1000 Current Clamps that provides 1 mV ac per amp measured up to 1000 amps. In addition, in any ICE (internal combustion engine) vehicles the components that are likely the cause of high current drains are compressor clutch, starter motor and generator/alternator. (If the clamp is available) Install it then you can start removing the fuse or relays of these components and check the display in your fluke meter if it drops or not. If the value changed, that could be the cause of the drain. (If there is no clamp available) DO NOT connect your fluke. You can remove those suspected fuses and relays then use a 10Amp jumper fuse, connect in series with the circuit to check if the current drain is still present. If the 10Amp fuse blows, try to find another suspected fuse or components as it is not safe for your meter. Please let me know if you need further information as I am willing to assist you. @@juliusapril6527 Thanks for replying! My situation is new battery goes dead after fews days of truck (2014 ram 1500) sitting. I used jumper cable between negative battery post and negative cable and put multimeter the same way. So now I won’t blow fuse in meter. So I get 0.20 mv on meter. I pulled all fuses and relays and no drop. However when I pulled the 2 fuses for body control the amp went up not down for each of these 2 fuses. I do have a aftermarket remote start. I had it installed years ago. It could the source of drain but I probably didn’t let truck sit long enough for battery to die until recently.
