Let's talk about the Battle of 1999 We have little information about it other than its participants and its main event. Alucard, The Belmont, Belnades and Hakuba Clan fulfilling the Nostradamus prophecy, The Death of Dracula. On a separate matter, We are aware of the existence of several organizations that battle against or alongside the Count. Order of Ecclesia proves the existence of powerful fighters that can hold against their own as well as other sources. Maxim, Shanoa/Albus, The Morris clan and etc. are capable allies as well as Shaft, Barlowe, Celia/Graham being powerful enemies separate from The Dracul We know in Japanese culture they have a thing with Sealing and Purification/Exorcism and Talismans thus the Hakuba. Alucard and Julies are most probable for playing the role of Damage dealers whereas the Hakuba and Belnades played Debuffer and AOE attacks. Imagine, an Elite force filled with, Several mages with their own specialties(Glyph, Divine, Nature, etc.) along with Martial/Weapon artists of Renowned origins, maybe a gunslinger attacking a Castle by a Cliff during the Eclipse. Alucard and Julius team up to stall long enough for the Hakubas to Seperate Dracula's soul from its body and start a purification process of Chaos and relieve Dracula from his fate. The Belnades push back Chaos along with Alucard and Belmont and then silence. The Heroes stand outside again watching the Castle fall only this time they watch the Grand Ritual of sealing the castle in the Eclipse by the combined efforts of the Hakuba and Belnades. A great power is sealed in the eclipse and Chaos seeks its bearer to plunge the world into Darkness, Dracula was no more but IT remembers his character, all it needs is the vessel. Before being sealed, it split *Domination* into two and sent it to find his bearer.

I always found it interesting that Dracula's wrath and darkness always came about due to his loved ones dying. Mathias became Dracula because his wife died while he was away. Dracula embraced ruthlessness and cruelty when Lisa died. And Soma becomes the dark lord if he thinks Mina is killed. It's a consistent and unique theme for the antagonist of the whole series.
